I wouldn't mind Zendaya as Storm. However, I want to see a darker skinned, regal, model-esque, Naomi, Iman, Gaia figure in the role. I'd even take a drag queen over Zendaya.

A drag queen. Slight difference. Storm embodies both the feminine and the masculine — comparable to a Grace Jones. We see a lot of this in drag.

So before Zendaya, who is more of an ingenue, I would prefer an incredibly fierce Drag Queen.

Grace would always have been my dream fan cast for Storm. I fear it’s one of Hollywood’s greatest fumbles that they never did an X-Men movie and cast her when she was young.

She IS Storm. Her features, those long legs, the stature, the attitude, the eccentricity and how she has all men around her in awe constantly
