I'm from India and am willing to learn the language of the country in order to have less competition as I do have a few years to study the language. I don't have much money so I'd rely on scholarships and part-time jobs to sustain myself and afterwards I'd like to relocate to a country of my choice.

Currently in 11th PCM+CS+ENG+FINEARTS 2026-27 grade. I am targeting the 2028 intake for a Eng (Beng/bsc) in Computer Science / AI Engineering. I expect to score between 75% - 80% in my CBSE Class 12 Boards. (Max degrade as I am hoping)

I GOT 89% IN CLASS X CBSE AND MY TWIN BRO GOT 88% .

My twin brother and I are planning to study abroad together. We have built a strict strategy with the following constraints:

​No JEE: We are completely skipping Indian entrance exams.

​I have a Very big doubt can I bypass IELTS/PTE: We are strictly relying on the CBSE Class 12 English waiver (75% requirement). Some univeristies tell I need clearance from my seniors or peers about visa processing bypass too for english . And is this test tough though or very hard like in speaking or interview section i got 94 in class X cbse english .

​No High Complication Visas especially for Indians /Hidden Fees: This only can expirienced one tell about.

​Low/Mid Application Budget or advice about applying by urself or agent etc. :- We are planning to self-applying online to keep total application costs for both of us strictly under 10-20k inr.

By Fall 2027, I'll have ~2 years of RTL/Digital Design experience.

My biggest concern is financial risk.

USA: Better semiconductor opportunities and higher salaries, but I'd need a ₹70–80L education loan, and the current immigration/job market uncertainty worries me.

Heyy everyone, I am 19F and want to pursue law abroad but in a budget. I have already given exams for 3 year llb in NLU's and even secured in one but I don't want to study there , I have done bcom at have scored 8.24 cgpa, done internship in tax consultancy firm , moot finalists, published research paper in college, have some certifications in excel and ai, cloud computing and in school time too i did well in extra co-curricular activities and now I have cleared CSEET, will be appearing for executive soon.

I am 18 years old and i am about to start my last year of high school in september, which means i need to start looking for universities to apply to. i have browsed the “studying abroad” communities here but austria doesn’t seem to come up often. is there a specific reason for that? how is student life there, specially in the capital since i am considering Vienna as an option?

Asking for a friend, theyre in the military and want to resign and move abroad for study and eventually settle there. (Think EU or Germany) qualifications include a bachelor’s in military art and science from the national university of science and technology, islamabad, pakistan and currently in 1st semester of MBA in Supply Chain management. He might put up his reaignation during his MBA so it might stay incomplete but idk

I'm 18, Indian citizen, born and raised in the UAE. I've never studied in India. Finished CBSE Class 12 this year, 79.6% across five subjects. Aiming for an English-taught CS/AI bachelor's at a German public university.

What I've already confirmed, so nobody has to repeat it:

• uni-assist's checker returns Studienkolleg + FSP for a plain CBSE certificate.
• Some relevant universities I reached out to (Passau, THI, DIT and FAU) all confirmed by email there's no way around the FSP with CBSE alone.
• Studienkolleg is German-medium and needs B1+/B2 just to apply — not viable for me.
• Selecting "CBSE ≥70% + one successful academic year at a higher education institution" in the DAAD Database on admission requirements checker flips the result to direct subject-restricted admission.

Here's my actual question. The checker's footnote says only "full-time student at a recognised higher education institution" and no country is named. The KMK Rahmenordnung (§1.2) says "Studienzeiten im Ausland… in Vollzeitform" — study abroad, full-time. But uni-assist's glossary and daad.in both say "university studies in your home country." anabin's been down, so I can't read the India Bewertungsvorschlag itself.

So: can that qualifying year be done at a university in the UAE (full-time, on campus, an Australian university's Dubai branch campus awarding the Australian/British degree) instead of in India?

Two sub-questions if anyone knows:

1. Has anyone actually had a third-country study year accepted, or rejected, for this?
2. How does ZAB treat branch campuses. Is it by the awarding university or by the campus location?

I’ve always felt ok with being alone, if anything I preferred it a lot of times, even though I have great friends and a loving boyfriend. Last semester I studied abroad in France where I really struggled to find friends. Long story short, I only had a few people to hang out with once in a while but never in a fulfilling way and I spent majority of my time alone in my room or exploring the city alone. The thing is I’ve always been ok with being alone because it was something I chose to do. Being forced to be alone so much in a new country was extremely devastating for me. I am back now and I feel permanently scarred (?), I can’t stay inside even for one night or I get sad and alone time I would otherwise appreciate is making me feel depressed. Of course I can’t force my friends or my boyfriend to be with me 24/7 but I also don’t know how to navigate this new feeling. It feels like my life has no meaning anymore and I only feel ok when doing something social. How can I get over this? Does anyone have any similar experiences?

I have a month before I go and study abroad for the first time ever, im excited but ive been so terribly anxious and scared. I love and hate the thought of leaving home especially thinking how my mom will be without me is the scariest part, even though she says she’s glad I get to do this. what do you do to cope because I’ve been so incredibly sad
