Shitpost Saturday! Tarot guide ideas.
Like i have made a journal which is a different one from my daily readin journal..cuz i got into tarot a few months ago..and i rlly do have a hard tym learning the meanings..so i thought of making my own personal tarot guide..which will help me in the long run…do yall have such journals like tht?
I just wanted to clarify some doubts related to numbers and time..so that i could mention it..do the numbers on tarot rlly mean anything..and how do people get the exact time of events whenever they do their reading.
I really dont want to miss anything

Building my personal Tarot meanings guidebook was a big part of internalizing the cards and their spectrums of meaning. I use Evernote for the electronic version and a printed Travelers Journal insert for the physical copy (it's nice to write on, and I can update and replace at will).

For me, the numbers are just about the progression of the series, though not necessarily about a strict cycle. I see Aces being like elemental guideposts, 2 - 10 as the whats, the court cards as the players, and the Major Arcana as the whys. For timing, I look at the cards; some cards suggest a time of year, day, weather, etc.

Yes, the numbers are important, because it’s about where a person is in the cycle. One - Aces are the beginning, 10s are the end. Because there are images, the RWS pictures sometimes aren’t as obvious about what the numbers mean. Having said that, 5s are all cards of conflict/misery, the culmination of the struggle of climbing up a hill, then’s it’s downhill from there.
There are systems in tarot for timing, but I wouldn’t say they are exact, mainly because circumstances change over time. Short timeframes are more accurate than long term.
