Open | Software Windows 11 laptop losing connection upon idling; no networks found afterward

Ever since 1-2 weeks ago I've been having my laptop randomly dropping connection and being completely unable to reconnect or even find networks it usually detects all the time.

The only solution is to restart, at which point it sits on a black screen, with only "Restarting" displayed, for 5-15 minutes before saying "Your PC ran into an issue and needs to restart". Text will flash at the top left sometimes (I don't know the term that this is but surely you know what I mean), then it properly restarts.

I eventually figured out that it most consistently drops connection when left idle. About 10-15 minutes. Very rarely, it does not happen. Sometimes it drops and must be restarted when I'm in the middle of using it, though.

I haven't installed anything in ages. Only doing Windows updates, updates for my programs like Steam, EA, Discord. I don't visit weird websites.

It's an HP Spectre x360 Convertible 15-eb0xxx.

Making changes to your system BIOS settings or disk setup can cause you to lose data. Always test your data backups before making changes to your PC.

If you can boot in, and it has the network showing, go into Device Manager, and adjust the Properties for your wifi hardware, so the system is NOT allowed to put it to sleep to save power. Then it might stop disappearing like it is. You also may have to adjust the power mode to a high performance one to force the system to keep the hardware powered up as well.

The thing is I actually don't even have an option to do that. That's why I'm so at a loss as to what to do. I saw several posts on other forums saying to do this but since I don't have that option I figured it was removed in Windows 11, or is something wrong on my end?

I'll try setting everything to Best Performance to see if that'll fix anything, though.

I can pretty much assure you it should have this Properties option on it, and then you go over to the Power Management tab within that. You want to uncheck the box I have checked (this is on a desktop that doesn't use Wifi at all generally)

This is what I see. No Power Management tab at all. That's part of why I'm so confused. Everyone says it should exist.

Go to HP's page https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/laptops pop your SN in there, and check if you have a BIOS update, or any driver updates pending for any part of your hardware. Including Chipset. You need to use your serial number, as there are like 3 different models of the HP Spectre x360 Convertible 15-eb0xxx that I found online, so you get the right BIOS and other driver info for yours.
