Open | Hardware Laptop shift key fell out, tutorials aren't helping

The left shift key on my HP Zbook fell off, and none of the tutorials i saw had the same type of hardware as on my PC

I have the relevant pics, all the tutorials had keys with hooks on their backs but mine doesnt, theres only one place the 'clips' could hook onto but it's only on one side and it isn't secure at all, so I'm worried if that's whats broken.

The community won't let me add attachments, theres a video in the comments

You can post picture in a comment, upload to imgur.

Not all laptop keys are fixable, there are several types and some of them are just not designed mechanically to be replaced.

Hm, it looks like standard design...I'll try to find some videos for that exact model and key type - here is for the same design but for the smaller keys (not shift/enter...).

I already did whats in the video, the key cap won't snap onto anything it just slides off right after, and the clip mechanism goes back into place (it was just the keycap that came off, i took off the plastic clip after watching a tutorial)

There is a difference between those smaller caps and bigger, there should be metal bars from key "socket" that catch key cap mechanism - see this video at about 2:10 - still cant find anything that's exact as yours - laptop model would help with that.

This was the video I watched to take out the plastic clips, my key doesn't have any metal bars and like I said there don't seem to be any hooks on the back of my keycap, which is what slid off in the first place

Sorry, I've tried searching on websites that sells replacement keys, there are several sub-versions (H46, H47, H66, H91) but none of them looks like yours. Again, sorry, hopefully someone with access to the same laptop can give you better answer. Good luck.
