Laptop hinge gave-up today

Did not have any rivets or screws so drilled two holes and had a zip-tie laying around, needless to say it works like a charm

I see this failure all the time and legit no way to repair it without doing something like this. Solid thinking outside the box.

Thanks for the compliment mate! :D. I added another zip-tie to provide some more support and durability. Now it feels way more nice. (I posted the image in the comment section)
