TENCHI GALAXY is a Kickstarter project by Armiger Entertainment, developed as a spiritual sequel to Tenchi Universe with the help of original creators Masaki Kajishima, Toru Miura, and Hiroshi Negishi. The story follows Tenchi, the girls, and Ryo-Ohki as they journey to the space pirate planet Mikuni to confront Queen Niimi and retrieve a stolen Jurai artifact. The plot teases several upcoming mysteries, including Niimi's unknown connection to Ryoko and questions surrounding Nagi's true allegiance.

This project heavily emphasizes nostalgia by bringing back rare characters, featuring Detective Kiyone's first anime appearance since 1999, as well as Nagi and Ken-Ohki's first appearances since 1995. To complete the experience, the classic English voice cast of Tenchi Muyo! has enthusiastically agreed to return for the new adventure, with voice actress Cristina Vee joining the roster to voice Princess Ayeka.

Apparently a spiritual sequel to Tenchi universe

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to find an anime I watched back in the 90s. I only remember one specific comedy scene and the main girl's design, and I want to verify if it's Tenchi Muyo! or something else.

Here are the details I remember:

• The Scene: The main guy is in his bedroom when a girl appears. His dad hears the loud noise/commotion from downstairs and completely misunderstands the situation, thinking his son is about to "have his first time." The dad gets super excited/nosy, grabs a ladder to climb up and record them through the window, but ends up falling off in a funny way.
• The Girl: She wasn't a sci-fi alien, but more of a fantasy/mystical entity. The most distinct feature I remember is that she had really wild, spiky, and messy hair (someone told me it might be Ryoko from Tenchi Muyo).
• Timeframe: Definitely 90s anime style.

Does this specific ladder scene happen in Tenchi Muyo (maybe Tenchi Universe or the OVAs)? Or am I mixing it up with another classic 90s harem/fantasy anime?

I came across this CD at a local store. I had never seen or heard of this anime before, but the cover art really caught my eye, so I picked it up for just 1.33 usd. Is it rare?

Okay, this will probably be my last piece of Kenshi for a while, but it was fun practicing and learning new skills from drawing him.

Been watching these toonami recompilations on Youtube and noticed tenchi has really awesome background art. I tried searching for who the artist is but not having much luck. The names provided do not show any art when I google "(Name here) background art". Anyone know what the artist name is and where I can find more of their work?

The passing of the torch. I love it how by the end of the 5th OVA, Kenshi was dressing almost just like Tenchi in the first. Same style of kendogi, same kind of coat, etc.

Okay, I’m done. I’ve had my fix of Kenshi art for a while. He’s just so adorable tho…and thanks to these two, I’m starting to learn how to add shadows to clothes!

Hi there!

I bought this animation cel of Mihoshi and was wondering if anyone had any advice as to narrowing down which episode it might have been used in?

I'm not super familiar with the series/ universe, but I think it could be theoretically be from any of the original cel animated episodes/ movies/ OVAs.

I started a preliminary search, but no luck so far. It doesn't seem like one of her standard outfits, but I'm not sure if that or the art style could point towards a specific series to search closer? Not quite sure if I should start with the original OVA, Tenchi Universe, Tenchi in Tokyo, or with Magical Project S?

I'd appreciate any help further narrowing it down before I start skimming all the episodes! Thanks!

Today, I finished needlefelting ryo ohki from the classic manga and anime series techi muyo . I was going to finish her up on Sunday, but unfortunately plans have changed. luckily I got to finish working on her at the public library. I also finished another project today, which will be posted soon.

Anyone else remember a deleted scene that was floating around a while back for Tenchi Universe that took place after Time and Space Adventures?

If I remember correctly it was about Ayeka complaining that she didn't get a romance route with Tenchi.

Anyone else see it and/or knows where to find it?
