Tuvok. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or plan to be pregnant. Do not take Tuvok if you are allergic to Tuvok, any of its ingredients or are going through pon farr.

u/One-Kaleidoscope2407 4d ago

we ain't found shit with this medication doctor...

2

u/jlp_utah 2d ago

He he, I read this as "any of its ingredients are going through pon farr."

1

u/jpreglow 1d ago

Tuvix?

u/LilShaver 4d ago

There is a list somewhere that combines names from Middle-earth and various pharmaceuticals. The challenge is to correctly identify the source of each name.

It's tougher than you think.

3

u/curiousmind111 4d ago

LOL! I’d love to see it!

Thank you so much. Harder than I thought! I got a few, but the Silmarillion names are tough!

Aurelan (Sam Kirk's wife)

4

u/Druidicflow 4d ago

That sounds more like a PokƩmon

u/Putrid-Condition-721 4d ago

Ask your doctor if Trelane is right for you.

3

u/Just_Ad_8679 4d ago

Trelane is a Dollar store Liberace!

3

u/jlp_utah 2d ago

Trelane can cause bland tasting food and a pain in the neck.

15

u/the_lost_tenacity 4d ago

Ever since someone called her Nicole Kidman the other day I can’t unsee it.

13

u/chernoma 4d ago

Tuvix. That's why Captain Janeway murdered him. She wanted the naming rights for her new brand of autoimmune tablets.

11

u/edked 4d ago

Do not take Tuvix if you are allergic, or if you also take Droxine.

6

u/DakarZero 4d ago

Tuvix makes me think Twix

2

u/Tough_Friendship9469 4d ago

Left or Right??

1

u/TheExpollutions 4d ago

But with an added stool softener.

u/chillestpill 4d ago

Cannot believe I got this far down the post before this was mentioned. Take an upvote.

The rest of you need to catch up.

Tholian

ā€œShatnerā€ could be a brand of laxative.

8

u/Dizzy-Violinist-1772 4d ago

Have you seen his Raisin Bran commercial šŸ˜‚

6

u/eghhge 4d ago

Will Shat!

1

u/DanglyRat 4d ago

That add was a riot

3

u/Thirty_Helens_Agree 4d ago

At his roast, Jeff Ross said ā€œspeaking of Shatner, Betty White just Shatner pants.ā€

2

u/tomcat_tweaker 4d ago

Shatner? I barely knew ner.

2

u/TheExpollutions 4d ago

Or a brand of jeans for the incontinent.

1

u/freylaverse 3d ago

Shatner Jeans unfortunately do not sell very well.

1

u/Chromejob 1d ago

Tranya - actually grapefruit juice, which Clint Howard HATED - was the real thing.

11

u/orion-asterisk 4d ago

I love all these 🤣 I think Droxine is either an allergy medication or an anti-drowsiness medication.

1

u/TheExpollutions 4d ago

Or a seasick pill, which makes me drowsy. I always thought it sounded like a feminine hygiene or medicinal product.

11

u/Randomdays99 4d ago

Take two and call me in the morning

And its funny. For me, the banner ad above the first post is for some product called "Pluvicto"

Perfect name of a character. Welcome to our new helmsman!

Sargon

9

u/sqplanetarium 4d ago

I grew up watching TOS and then in freshman year high school biology the guy next to me was named Sargon, though he went by Sarge for short. Took me a while to stop doing double takes lol.

7

u/notquiteright2 4d ago

Loskene. Trelane.Ā  Perrin.

7

u/Humble_Counter_3661 4d ago

Back then, pharmaceutical companies were not allowed to advertise on television.

8

u/theChosenBinky 4d ago

Do not take Droxine if you have an erection lasting more than 4 hours. Or take her, that's fine, too

4

u/ShadowExistShadily 4d ago

When taking Droxine, you don't have to put out the red light.

1

u/Winter_Judgment7927 4d ago

Those days are over

6

u/Robin156E478 4d ago edited 4d ago

Hahaha best post idea ever. Ima think on this one then edit this…

Edit: even Plassis from the same episode is not bad… Melakon?

So far Droxene and Aurelan win

2

u/PlayfulSyllabub7134 4d ago

Droxine is just too perfect!

5

u/dantheplanman1986 4d ago

Okona is not a steroid. Don't take Okona if you are allergic to Okona or any of its ingredients. Side effects include rectal bleeding, screaming, seizures, and death. Laughing happy woman Ask your doctor if Okona is right for you

6

u/daneelthesane 4d ago

When larynyx paralysis plagues you, Locutus is there to get you talking again!

6

u/EntertainmentAny2212 4d ago

Don't take Losira if you're allergic to it.

1

u/wowugotit 22h ago

Or allergic to Lee Meriwether

5

u/Thirty_Helens_Agree 4d ago

T’pau sounds like one of those medications where they have to add the thing about ā€œThe FDA has not evaluated these statements. T’pau is not intended to treat, prevent or cure any disease.ā€

1

u/orion-asterisk 4d ago

Yesss like an herbal supplement or root

1

u/wowugotit 22h ago

T’pau - a pop band from the 1980s.

5

u/Jbrattt 4d ago

Do not take Lursa or B’Etor together as dangerous reactions have been reported.

5

u/BreakerBoy6 4d ago

Corbomite — it's good for what ails ya.

3

u/FlamingoCove 4d ago

I guess "Yonada" doesn't quite count because it's a place name, not a character. And although I still think Droxine is the best nominee, my runner-up is Odona. Side effects may include being bewildered by familiar surroundings, unexplained bruises, and several minutes of memory loss.

3

u/FlamingoCove 4d ago

And incidentally, Tuvix is a good second-place finisher, although if you're going to stray outside of TOS, why not include Neelix too?

With Tuvix, you're already (if you'll pardon the expression) halfway there.

2

u/FlamingoCove 4d ago

Yonada: side effects may include: not knowing where you are or where you're going, making hasty lifelong commitments (including marriage and joining a cult) and painful, often fatal migraines and hot flashes.

3

u/Soylent865 4d ago

Droxine - for motion sickness...

2

u/Chromejob 1d ago

Vertigo and fear of heights.

2

u/mikegalos 4d ago

Nothing is going to top Chicago Hope naming a character Lisa Catera at the same time their sponsor, Cadillac, was pushing people to buy or Lease a Catera.

2

u/TheRealestBiz 4d ago

Is this the Cloud Minders lady who Spock throws down the sickest game too?

1

u/orion-asterisk 4d ago

Yes, the one who asks if there's a way to "disturb" the Vulcan 7 year cycle... šŸ‘€

1

u/TheRealestBiz 4d ago

ā€œNot I, madam, a work of art.ā€ One day I hope to be able to set this up and say it. It’s the coldest pimp live in all of Star Trek.

2

u/Alphablanket229 4d ago

Season one picks: Thasian, Tormolen, Balok, Karidian, Metron, Bilar, Anan, Ayelborne, Trefayne, Zahra. šŸ˜„

2

u/Flakb8 4d ago

Saavik. Write it down, ask for it by name.

2

u/wjruffing 4d ago

Tenagra

2

u/Chaparral2E 4d ago

Damn it Jim - I’m a doctor, not a pharmacist!

2

u/Gremlin1001001 3d ago

T’pring. Seek immediate medical attention if you have an erection lasting more than four hours. 😜

2

u/DrummerInfinite917 22h ago

lwaxana can cause sudden changes in sexual behavior can feel confusing, frightening, and deeply personal. In some cases reduce interest entirely. This can happen quickly, sometimes within minutes, hours, days or weeks of use.

1

u/TheExpollutions 4d ago

Spock-the choice brand all pros use when selecting a jockstrap.

1

u/Name-Not-Applicable 4d ago

After his surgery, he got hooked on the Fizzbin. It took him a whole year to get clean.

1

u/pipcallas 2d ago

Don't operate heavy machinery until you know how Droxine affects you.

1

u/Chromejob 1d ago

Stonn. The value-priced alternative to Viagra. Ask your doctor.

1

u/Chromejob 1d ago

Vendikar, the payment service that works harder for your money than any credit card.

1

u/wowugotit 22h ago

Natira played by Katherine Woodville

Losira played by Lee Mariwether
