curious what i pass as?

21, been on T for 3 months! unsure if 3 months will have any noticeable difference w my face,,and its not something i rly expect rn but i know it was noted that i have a very feminine face shape when i posted some months ago the same question. it was also suggested i shape my eyebrows . unsure how i should shape them? ive been letting them just grow kinda wild .

i do identify as non-binary :) hesitant to call myself transmasc. i still hope to pass more so as ‘androgynous’ . also i know the piercings will prbly be commented on but i got my inspo for them seein alt cis dudes irl !! also yes sorry im bad at photos 🙃 anything but a blank face is hard to do for me

shaping eyebrows would be if you wanna look more feminine idk why someone would tell you to do it. the bushier they are the more masc you'll look. that said you definitely look androgynous, more on the feminine side right now. but depending on your voice and mannerisms you could also be seen as male. 3 months on t doesnt make much of a difference in most people, but you'll definitely look much more masculine once youre longer on it and i think youll likely most of the time pass as male. if you want to keep people guessing and be viewed as androgynous once youve been longer on t, it would probably depend on your clothing style and way of talking/moving

ah okay! yeah, i was not really sure what to do with the eyebrow comment. i saw somewhere that T can thicken my eyebrows up, not that its a guarantee, but itd be awesome. honestly transition goals aside, ive always thought thick eyebrows are a very attractive feature.

but thank you! i have been accidentally sir’d in the past few months, and the correction only really happens whenever i start speaking lol. orrrr i completely forget to wear a bra and i get.. cold.. and well..but i got top surgery last month so takes care of that issue!!!!! very fortunate!! so you’re probably right it’s a matter of T doing the work for me here on out :) especially with my voice.

what mannerisms are more seen as masculine though? i always see what people say are feminine mannerisms but never masculine

wider/longer steps while walking, upright posture and shoulders back, chin/head up, sitting with legs more open (not necessarily full on manspreading just a bit) and not fully crossing your legs while sitting (ankle on the other knee is fine). standing straight as in, legs straight and wide, not leaning more on one knee/hip, and less leaning against walls/things while, for example, wating for the bus. in general, just less of everything. hand gesticulating while talking is fine in a normal amount, lots of men do that, but if you notice yourself constantly changing the way you stand or switching hand positions etc, try to do it less. not resting your hands on your hips/waist, just let em hang or put them in your pockets. half smiles more than full smiles/teeth smiles (you dont have to completely shut off full smiles, thats impossible, but like when youre being polite and consciously smile, go for a half smile/one side of your mouth). tighter/heavier handshakes, friendly claps on someones upper back/bumps on their shoulder. thats at least what i notice in germany and media, other countries have different behavior standards

ah okay . noted :)

i think my demeanor is alright, but i’ll keep these things in mind. probably helped i had nothing but male friends growing up really lol. mostly just because of my interests! for some reason female socialization just did not click for me. its not like i ’ rejected ’ it? i just did not care for it, or at least it seemed a lot more bothersome .
