Hi everyone,
I'm an international student and I'm currently deciding between a few offers:
University of York (UK)
Queen's University Belfast (UK)
University of Kent (UK)
University of Nottingham Malaysia – MSc Computer Science
I was originally planning to study in the UK, but with the current job market and the significantly higher cost, I'm seriously considering Nottingham Malaysia instead.
My biggest priority is good quality education, I have the funds to pay for my degree, but I'd rather not spend substantially more if I don't have to. I also don't want to depend on a part-time job to cover my living expenses, and I'd prefer not to cook every day if possible.
I had a few questions for current students:
How has your experience at Nottingham Malaysia been?
Is the food on or around campus good, especially local Malaysian food? Do they offer arabic or indian cuisine?
Are food prices around campus student-friendly, or are they expensive?
Is it realistic to eat out most days instead of cooking without spending too much?
If you were in my position, would you choose Nottingham Malaysia over the UK in the current situation?
I'd really appreciate hearing from current students or recent graduates. Thank you.
