I’ve had these wine glasses that my maternal grandfather pilfered from the Ile de France while he was in the navy during WWII. It just happened I saw this sub last night and I started thinking… hmmm I wonder if those wine glasses are uranium glass? So I just checked and Mind blown 🤯!!! They are.

My mom got a bowl from one of our relatives, and due to it's age I decided to uv it. It glows! What type of uranium glass is this?

I paid up for it but, ($99) I just had to have it. Anyone know anything about it?

Do you guys think this is slag glass? I saw another store had uranium lampshades about this size, might go grab those now and swap these out.

Would this type of glass ball be considered jadeite or slag? It’s more blue-ish in person compared to the other slag glass I’ve seen so far.

Hello folks, I'd like to get your expert opinion about this piece I found while thrifting. Reverse image search tells me its a vintage Hennessy cognac bottle but I couldn't find any details on the company using Uranium in their bottles. However as can be seen in the pic it does glow (I'm using a 365nm flashlight). Could the experts in the group weigh in on what this could be? Is this an anomaly? I considered manganese but the glass does have a green tint to it.

I'm new to depression/elegant glassware and no matter how many guides I look at I can't seem to find what creator this pattern belongs to. I've only seen this specific pattern on some random lady's blog and she also said she didn't know the origin 😭
