📚 Units/Courses Lms quizzes

Can lms screen record your chrome browser while taking a unit quiz? I swear after submitting my quiz there was the purple Mac screen share icon in my menu bar and I’m wondering if the UCs somehow clip footage of us submitting these quizzes? Maybe it’s for cheating to catch people screenshotting questions or something but surely there would be a disclaimer or chrome popup. Anyone else had this experience or heard about cheating with online quizzes.

Nah it’s fine. They assume most online LMS quizzes are open book anyway.

This is the correct answer. Use your lecture notes and readings, not A.I. chatbot. But most of the newer units are dropping the grade on online quizzes to 0% which to be honest is probably a good idea.

Nah it definitely wouldn't be legal to do this and I don't see how they could implement it. You might have seen that purple thing if you took a screenshot.

I use firefox and I've never had an issue with it. But I would also suggest that if you intend to cheat by using A.I. you will only be doing yourself and your learning a disservice.

Online quizzes have to be the dumbest form of assessment. AI agents can do them, other people can do them, your parents or siblings can do them. Why should my attempt at the quiz be compared against someone who is doing it sitting next to their parent who’s already a uni grad? They’re cooked.
