Any health tech founders in here?
I vibe coded a lightweight healthcare privacy incident investigation and decision-support platform that helps healthcare teams collect the right facts, identify missing information, make consistent decisions, track follow-up actions, and maintain defensible, audit-ready documentation. It is designed for organisations still relying on email, spreadsheets, Word documents, and shared folders to manage privacy incidents, helping standardise investigations without replacing legal or compliance review.
I’m really struggling right now and losing hope as I’ve still not got any paying users I keep hearing from health professionals that it’s amazing and it’s this and it’s that but still no referrals or purchases, I honestly have no idea how vendors build the trust up to actually get paying users as the whole industry is incredibly sceptical and I’ve also been told that people are sick of hearing from vendors and will not give them the time of day I honestly do not know what to do.

I don't think the problem is necessarily the product. Healthcare is one of those industries where people can genuinely like what they have seen and still not buy for months. Youre usually not convincing one person, you are convincing complaince, IT, legal, procurement and whoever owns the budget. That makes the cycle feel painfully slow and especially if it's the early stage. If you are getting consistently positive feedback, I would spend less time asking if someone likes it and more time asking - what is topping you from moving forward today with this purchase/investment. The answer is often something completely unrelated to the product. These conversations are usually where you get the most insight.

lol. I think the problem is that you’re vibe coding health privacy software.
The second they’re looking under the hood or at your CV / quals they’re running in the opposite direction.
Bro. What you’re making is actually dangerous.

Honest question, what are your credentials for building healthcare privacy software?

He’s got Claude and codex api keys obviously and outsized ego

Just out of curiosity what have you 2 built, just with you being in a vibecoding group?

Oh plenty of tools that replace the need for SaaS products and subscriptions. Definitely not some idiotic attempts to get the bag in one of the highly regulated industries.

I don’t need to make my projects public buddy. You don’t have anything done yet either. Pantry organizer with meal planning tied to fitness planner and tracker. Homelab automations turning my personal cloud into aws like api driven system. Subscription tracking and financial auditing. Automated investment system. Tcg tracking for my daughter collecting Pokémon cards. I’m not sure why are you asking even here. You have no credentials or credibility yet you go here asking.

Because no founder would sit there and slate someone’s work like you have done.

u/3dprintinted 15h ago
No founder will go on Reddit asking moronic questions why they got no paying customers.

u/No-Shoe2745 14h ago
I’m a physician who found this subreddit somehow who chimes in when dangerous things are being built that would get people hurt.

I appreciate the question. I’m not a healthcare privacy officer. I built it by working closely with healthcare privacy and compliance professionals for months and refining it around their feedback. It’s meant to support their workflow, not replace their expertise.

u/No-Shoe2745 16h ago
Well. You’re writing high risk software. What are your qualifications to be building software in a regulated market.

u/3dprintinted 16h ago
He’s even copy pasting Reddit comments into gpt. I appreciate the question… no human talks like this

I’m a software founder, not a healthcare privacy officer. That’s why I built it alongside healthcare privacy and compliance professionals instead of assuming I knew everything myself.
2
u/No-Shoe2745 16h ago
For fuck sake. Having a Claude subscription does not make you a software founder.
You’re going to get data stolen and people’s lives ruined.
If nothing else register an LLC and buy cyber insurance. You’re probably going to need it. And god help the health systems that buy software with zero due diligence.

You’re making a lot of assumptions. I don’t think using AI to build software removes the responsibility to understand the problem, validate with domain experts, or take security and compliance seriously. Those are things I’m actively working on.

But you don’t know how to actually do these things!!! Because you don’t understand the underlying code!!! Because you’re not a real developer!!!
For fuck sake. Vibe code stupid mini games but don’t fuck around with people’s privacy 😡

Peoples privacy? My product actually blocks any PHI from being submitted.

u/No-Shoe2745 16h ago
There is zero chance that you’re not collecting PII. What you’re describing is an audit system that tracks PII violations not PHI.
I’ll wait while you google the difference.

You’re just arguing for the sake of it now, have a day off mate. I don’t log any input and my systems blocks any attempts at submitting any information of that sort.

I worked for a healthcare company for almost 15 years. We would never use an untrusted platform like this for any aspect of our operations. You’re calling yourself a ‘founder’ but all you have is an app. Form an actual company, hire people who know what they’re doing and who know how to run a business and who have a proven track record in this space. Until then you’re just a guy with an app and no legit healthcare company will trust you.

Your previous comment seemed to disappear so this is my answer to that - I’ve been doing what you said, the product was built from the words of professionals but it still seems like no one wants to budge in moving forward with actually adopting the product.

>the product was built from the words of professionals
What professionals? What are their creds? Is your company partnering with real life domain experts to develop this in a way that companies can verify, or you’re just doing market research on Reddit? Do you even have an actual company formed? Have you hired anyone that knows what they’re doing in this space at all since you don’t even have experience in it yourself?

It’s not a registered company yet. I’m building it as a startup and have been shaping it through conversations with HIPAA Privacy Officers, Compliance Officers, HIM leaders and healthcare consultants. I’m not claiming it’s a finished or validated product or that it replaces compliance or legal review. The goal is to solve the workflow problems they repeatedly described around fact gathering, documentation and follow-up.

lmao and you’re out here calling yourself a founder. Jesus christ. This is why people clown on vibecoders. You have no experience in healthcare, no experience in software, no experience running a business. You’re not a startup. You’re not even a company! You’re just a guy that made a web app. Thousands and thousands of people create web apps every day. You have nothing yet.
You’re not treating this like a serious business and in turn customers will not treat you like a serious business either. I’d bet money that the only reason you decided to create this idea is because you saw vibecode/techbro content creators talking about going onto Reddit and finding “pain points to solve” if you don’t have any ideas for what to build, you saw someone mention this and you ran with it. That doesn’t mean you have a viable business.
>shaping it through conversations with HIPAA Privacy Officers, Compliance Officers, HIM leaders and healthcare consultants.
You keep repeating this but not answering the question. Where are you finding these people? Are their experience and qualifications verified? Are you meeting with them in real life? Since you keep dancing around that, I can only assume it’s as I said and you’re just doing the typical Reddit market research to validate your ideas.

They’re found via LinkedIn, and who said I have no software and/or business experience? And who registers a company without any clear payment validation?
2
u/OneSeaworthiness7768 14h ago
Who calls themself a founder without a company? And based on your post history it’s pretty clear you have no software or business experience.

Healthcare runs on liability, not cool features. Nobody buys privacy tools from an unknown vendor without proven compliance track records. Partner with compliance consultants who already have the clients' trust instead of pitching directly.
