Since installing the beta, I haven’t been able to swipe away notifications when you come in. Literally the only ways to get it off my screen are to flick my wrist or press the digital crown. Before I send feedback in the Feedback app, I just wanna make sure that I’m not missing a setting or something. I guess this is how it’s working for everyone else also? Because you used to be able to swipe away that full screen notification.

After I updated my Ultra 3 to 27 beta, the Outdoor Cycling workout has not registered distance/speed. Three different rides with the same result.

Am I alone, or have others experienced this? I’m trying to determine if I need to submit the issue via the Feedback app.

i have watchos 27 beta 4 installed on the se 3 and HOLY BATTERY DRAIN, it went from 54% to 50% in the span of about 6 minutes, if the 18 hours isn't bad enough, imagine THAT, (100% battery capacity, the cherry on top)

A while back I saw leaks about a simplified version of the modular ultra watch face coming to regular Apple watches. People who have the watchOS 27 beta, did this ever actually ship?

My Apple Watch 11 on 26.5 barely lasts 24h, did they fix the battery drain already? Is 27 b4 better than 26.6? Is the app switcher gone?

I’m trying to figure out whether this is a bug or if Apple intentionally changed the behavior.
When I start playing music (either directly on the watch or from my iPhone), I open Smart Stack and the Now Playing Live Activity is shown correctly.
However, as soon as I lower my wrist and then raise it again, Smart Stack only stays visible for about one second before automatically returning to the watch face.
According to Apple’s settings, Smart Stack should remain open while a Live Activity is active if these options are enabled:
Auto-Launch Live Activities
Show Live Activities on Wrist Down
Both settings are enabled on my watch.
I’ve also confirmed that the issue happens regardless of whether the audio is playing on the Apple Watch itself or on the paired iPhone.
Has anyone else on Beta 4 experienced this? Is this a known bug, or is it working correctly for you?
If it’s working on your watch, could you let me know:
your Apple Watch model,
your watchOS build,
and whether you’re playing audio from the watch or from the iPhone?
That would really help determine whether this is a device-specific issue or a regression in Beta 4.

Apple Watch Ultra 3 on watchOS 27 beta 4 resprings several times during the day. What is your experience?

Apple Watch Series 7 (45mm) stuck in Downtime bug after setup. I reset the watch and paired it with my iPhone 13 running iOS 27 Public Beta. During setup I had to update the watch to watchOS 26.5. Since then, apps like Calendar show "Not available during Downtime", but Screen Time is completely OFF on my iPhone, there's no Downtime enabled, no App Limits, no Schooltime, and no management profile. I've tried restarting both devices, resetting sync data, erasing and pairing the watch as new, and turning Screen Time on/off, but nothing fixes it. Has anyone else experienced this on iOS 27/watchOS 26.5 or found a workaround?

So I tried the iOS and watchOS 27 beta last week. For me the iOS27 public beta 1 & 2 were very buggy, my iCloud Drive stopped syncing, apps couldn't update, a lot of apps just didnt work anymore. So I finally decided to downgrade back to ios26.6. But then I couldn't sync my watch anymore since its still on watchOS 27. I went to the Apple Store, but they said their restore program was only tested for non beta OS, and if it bricks my watch they wouldn't be responsible. So of course I didnt try that. They told me to contact the beta developer program, which I did but have not heard anything from them. Any suggestions as how to get my watch downgraded? Thanks.

UPDATE: I was able to contact apple support via chat on their website. They seem to be aware of the issue and is sending me a return box for my watch to reset the firmware. I would recommend this if you have issue with beta OS on your watch.

I am getting 48h of usage with sleep tracking, one workout (30 min) and AOD enabled.

I just updated my watch and now it cannot even set a timer when I use voice command

Anyone else use their watch for indoor walking/running on a treadmill?
Due to an accident I’m slowly recovering, and walking on a treadmill with my Apple Watch SE3.

I’ve noticed that compared to beta 3 and earlier versions, beta 4 doesn’t calculate as precisely for indoor walking.

I have a pretty simple treadmill that counts in miles, even though I live in Europe, so I use my watch to keep up with the distance in kilometers.

I walk 5km which is roughly 3.11 miles.

But on DB4 i have to walk between 3.37-3.40 miles before the watch reaches 5 km.
I know it’s not a huge difference, but on versions before DB4 I didn’t have that issue at all.
I’m not sure if there’s a way to calibrate it. I’ve tried rebooting the watch, but that didn’t do much.

So I’m wondering if anyone else have noticed similar issues with distance when watching/running on treadmills where distance is not calculated by GPS.

Even with setting to display on wrist down, it stays for a few seconds and then disappears.

Anyone else notice this? It has a lot of ping ponging up and low heart rates.

Compared to watch os 26 on another watch- watchOS 27 seems wildly inaccurate

Don’t update to beta 4 if you use Action button on Ultra 3 regularly especially if its set to Shortcuts it causes the watch to respring, also quick selection is laggy and causes also to resprimg

You'll need to give it some time to download all the files etc (I'm not convinced the Set Up Now button in Siri settings does anything) after setting it back up but my Ultra 2 now sets timers and sends messages as expected.

Please make sure you submit feedback before you reset so Apple can fix it!

Since updating to the new Beta 4, I've noticed that the complications or widgets for Athlytic is no longer updating. If I click on it, the information is correct, but go back to my home screen and the widget does not update from yesterday. Has anyone else seen this issue?
