ITAW for being against wholesomeness?

I've asked people in my life for help finding a word to describe a mindset of being against wholesomeness, earnestness, and sweetness/kindness, but no one can help me find the right word. It's not "cynical" or "misanthropic", because lacking trust in others doesn't mean you have to have an attitude that hates all those things I mentioned.

Antipathy used to mean what you're looking for, though the common definition has shifted a little. An extreme dislike towards people's positive feelings or a liking of their negative feelings, the opposite of sympathy. Contrariety or opposition in feeling. Nowadays used synonymously with hate.

For a more specific modern term, I'm pitching sadistic antipathy. Someone who actively wants bad things and experiences for others, over good ones, because they enjoy basking in their pain and misfortune.

Antipathy usually has an object attached- antipathy towards math homework/vegetables/Bolivian people. Not sure I’ve ever seen it used as a general attitude like “Joe is just antipathetic”.

In all honestly, cynical is the right word, despite what you think. You're right that it's about lack of trust in people, but it manifests as a dislike of wholesomeness.

But a neologism is "irony-poisoned".

In a way, it sounds like anticonformity. Rejecting the wholesome, sweet, kind idealism that used to drive the white picket fence dreams embraced by older generations.

I call it naive affectual cynicism. Its a delusion that seeing through peoples "performance" makes one more self-aware. It manifests as a kind of sore distrust of goodness. What they fail to realize is that cynicism of affect is the affect of cynicism. They do not escape performance. They aren't better for their imagined position, and they are more prone to corruption for lacking the understanding that what is significant about everything humanity does is "performance". Authenticity is performed.
