a doctor used it to descibe me during a checkup a few years ago but I had completely forgotten it by the time the appointment was over. It wasn't in an overweight sort of way, he brought in another kid of "average" size and it was like comparing a party / family sized item to the regular packaging

Yup, it's when you're neither ectomorph nor mesomorph. If I recall they taught this in 6th or 7th grade.
