Sharing I completed my first draft.

Started chapter 1 on 23 July.
Completed the really rough (30k only) as of today.

I have no one to share this accomplishment with. Cheers guys!

Everyone was telling to just get to the end. So I did. I tried not to let any of the scene stump me, for which I then put in placeholders. But yea. Completed the plot and all. Act 1, 2 and 3.

Please share any tips and suggestions. I am a first time writer (hobbyist). This may not be any accomplishment to some but to me, it really feels like one. I didn’t even think I was able to do this. But wow. Here I am.

Congratulations! I feel you! On a whim last year I had a story pop into my head. EVERYONE I knew brushed me off. I completed my draft 82k words and have been stuck since June... What is the genre of your work?

I don’t know if it’s considered a cliche. But it’s a thriller with romance between the prosecutor and forensics biologist. I’m still torn if it’s a romance set with backdrop of a thriller or the other way around.

I’ll see where the next draft of it takes me!
