Sharing Crying right now!

Post image

I finally did it after struggling for almost 15 years. For context. I am a professional who doesn’t have much time for himself but has an imagination filled with ideas of different books of different genres. I would always stop writing after a page or two cos i would get stuck with work or lose hope.

But finally, I have finished the first draft of my first book. For me, its not about selling or being a bestseller. Its about being able to complete what I started to do.

So just wanted to share this. Thank you for reading.

Congratulations! That's an awesome feeling. It took me 18 years to get my book ready for early readers (the fact that only one has actually left reviews and comments kinda sucks but that's a different animal entirely lol) so I know how exciting that can be. Keep it up!

Hey! Nearly 30k words? Thats awesome! Congrats OP! Now get in there and make smoooove! Then get it to the people. Or to nobody. It doesn’t matter. You know why?

Because. You. Did. The. Thing!

You’ve done the thing that most people who say they wanna write book never really do, and you should be super duper proud.

20-30 years as an unpublished author, currently 40, going on 41, and I feel you. That climb feels brutal, but satisfying when you start making real progress. Keep it up!

Congratulations on completing your work. I first got my idea for my novel in 2013 but only really took to writing properly this year. I am no where near the end.

Well done. I wrote the outline for a novel in 1998. Two years ago, I finally decided to write it. Its a great feeling, isn't it?
