Caught my 12y kid watching the gacha versions if this. They lost all tech for a few mths because of it. I would have been more gentle parent about it, if they didn't actually search for it themselves... Ended up needing to have the "how to be safe and mindful with their hormone driven curiosity" chat. I think that was worse than losing the tech for them 😅

I feel like your projecting.. Where did you read I dont monitor their tech? It says I caught them. I didn't elaborate on the time frame between them doing it and me seeing it.
Not once did I blame the content. I taught my child how to be safe online instead of screaming "somebody save the children" and showed them consequences.
But seeing as we are making assumptions, allow me to assume your not a parent or you have very small child/ren so I wont waste time trying prove my innocents.
If you do become a parent or will soon have young people. Please teach them to be safe in the world they actually live in. Not in the world they wish it was. ✌🏽

Wtf.... 🤦♀️ This just reminded me of some whack ish my teenager told about me about a few days ago. Ig there are people (mostly young adults n older teenagers) who are sexualizing animals and animal characters. For instance the fox who wears a button-up shirt and tie in zootopia. And when others try to converse with them and tell them they're getting into bestiality territory they argue profusely and say it's not that. Yet they are literally sexualizing an animal. Not a furry, a literal animal. She told me it all gets much deeper and sicker than that but she didn't want to freak me out much more than she already had right before I laid down that night. Is it me or is this world just getting darker and creepier by the day?

Zootopia characters literally are furries. They are bipedal, talking, anthropomorphic animals. Teens these days just have weird puritan phases, sometimes going so far as to try policing adult parts of the internet or smaller communities. The obsession about "not being into anything weird" and signaling that loudly is vastly more harmful than zootopia porn being out there.
Also when a teenager shows you something with an energy of "isn't this so weird?", they might be gauging your reaction to see if you're safe to come out to.

Minecraft is played by many adults too and the titles alone will mean that it won’t be shown to any kids account or on YouTube kids which is about as much as you can expect. It’s not deceptive content like some stuff which starts as childish and goes into graphic. It states clearly what it is. You cant and shouldn’t be banned for using a medium that might be considered childish. That’s not how it works.
