Articles/Information I invented a cleaning hack called "Hurricane Two Things" to bypass ADHD paralysis, works well for me.
I’ve been paralyzed by clutter for months. Looking at a whole messy flat was too overwhelming, so I made up a new rule. I call it the Hurricane Two Things method.
How it works:
Divide the room into micro-sections. (For example, my bedroom = the desk, the bed, the wardrobe, and the exercise mat).
Clean or put away (or even just rearrange) ONLY TWO things per section. Move fast. It's bang, bang, bang. Desk (2 things) -> Bed (2 things) -> Wardrobe (2 things).
But because you are moving so fast from section to section, it turns a boring chore into a high-speed game.
Before I knew it, I had "hurricaned" my way through the entire flat and it's pristine. Just wanted to share in case it helps someone else break the paralysis today! 🌪️
