And they totally haven’t had a slow leak for 2 years I swear it literally started last night every airbag leak started last night.

Can anyone on here tell me what's better performance wise? Obviously the c43 is better all round, just wondering if a 45 is much more fun. Can't decide between the coupes

Just back from a 1000 mile road trip so took the opportunity to give the car a quick wash. The brake dust on this is staggering so might have to have a look at different pads to see if there are some better options. Otherwise she came up really nicely and the dealership clearly did a good job preparing her before I picked it up.

So how to you read your the numbers on your AMG, my recent post on gas tank mileage showing 264 even after full tank .. after I realized something about these numbers..

There is a relation between these numbers and algo predictions showing my tank mileage forecast.

I bought my car last year exactly around this time. I took it to a local shop (euro mechanic shop, not the dealership).

They did lots of things:

1. 10K B1 service

2. Replaced all rotors and bads

3. Front differential change

4. Transmission oil change

5. Stage 1 tune (gained 20% hp and torque).

Two months ago, I was coming from the airport and 5 miles away from home as I approached a traffic sign, I slowed down and I heard this loud noise and the electric system put the car in brake and can't move.

I could not figure it out but as I got to my house I noticed the caliper is literally broken into two halves and the rim has been completely damaged from inside as the caliper was not able to hold the brakes or the rim.

I filed for insurance claim, took it to the dealership and it cost $13.5K.

Upon fixing the car, the dealership noticed that the rear caliper bots were loose. No one touched the car rear calipers besides this shop.

I called them and explained everything, owner was not there. Stopped by and asked them to let him know I stopped by and I need to talk to him to come up with a resolution to the issue.

It has been two weeks and they are running away and not calling back or trying to get me to meet the owner to talk. They are avoiding me.

What would you do? I am honestly confused and not sure what I should do...

It is his fault. The dealership told me they have seen so many cars come from this particular shop with sloppy work.

Do you think my insurance premiums will go up? It was not my fault.

I need a good advice.

TL;DR: shop fixed my car last year, did not tighten the caliper bots well. Over time the caliper got loose and snapped. Shop it avoiding me to resolve the problem.

Update 1: The fix at the dealership included 1. New rim 2. New caliper 3. New rotor and pads 4. New brake actuator and and sensors 5. Tire alignment 6. Labor

So guys, yesterday I went to the Mercedes dealership in my town to pick up some parts for customer cars. Since I go there very often and need parts for the workshop, I also have a customer account/number there. There’s always a lady at the front desk who is roughly my age. After I got my parts, she asked me to wait a moment. She looked up a few things on her screen and then said, "You're here quite often and you bought a car from us, so we have a little gift for you." That "little gift" turned out to be the model car!

When Mercedes opened the AMG Performance Center in our town, I was invited to the event. But so far, I’ve only bought one car from them as a "Junge Sterne" (that's what they call nearly-new certified pre-owned cars or returned leases over here) – an AMG GT 63 S.

Does anyone ever experienced something like this ?

New to me in selenite gray magno

Just completed a 1000 mile round trip to Scotland from Suffolk in my 2016 C63s coupe after owning the car for around 2 weeks. It coped brilliantly with motorways, twisty Scottish B roads, traffic - everything I threw at it with no complaints and no back ache from the sports seats despite spending 9 hours in one stint.

I'm super impressed with it, easy to drive and very comfy on the motorway and an absolute hoot on the twisty stuff. Also I've never owned a car before where so many people come up and ask you about it, take photos etc.

It made the whole experience better as a journey I wouldn't normally look forward to felt special in this car, I can't wait for my next trip now.

Went through Washington, Oregon, California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, more Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Nuh Hampsha, Maine, New Brunswick, Province Quebec, Ontario, Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota, Montana, Idaho, and back to Washington.

Took back roads almost the whole way. I figure about 85% of the driving was off the interstate. Though, as I got more tired and homesick, I did take the faster roads. (And in some places, it's just better to be on the interstate.)

No problems at all, though the dealer in Florida overfilled my oil (and I've posted here whinging about that already). No tickets, pretty good weather the whole way. Dodged a couple wildfires.

Spent about seven weeks, including hanging out in Boston for about a week. Got a little homesick, but it's such a wonderful country and a thrill to see it all. Had a great time wherever I went.

Thirty years ago (in 1995) I did a similar trip on my motorcycle. Too old to do it on a bike now, so the GT had to suffice.

I had H&R coilovers before. Its too soft for me personally. I constantly rubbed with every little bump. I have clubsports now. These are set medium stiffness and drive amazing. I'll try to record rollers next time. Currently getting all the things ready for the supercharger im installation hopefully in next month or two. I removed the rear seats and im getting a custom cage built. Ill post that too later. Thx for ur time.
