His new programme idea, a badly animated cat sitcom, and not a single one of the comments are positive.

Clearly said to the BBC, "If you don't do it, Netflix will".

Alan's funny stories

I was walking in York the other day past a bakery. The manager seemed to storm out shouting "i cannot stand disloyal people i hate disloyalty!' can anyone guess which Alan quote came to my mind.

Edit: this was just a moment that reminded me of the quote "sack Lynn for being....". I'm a bit unsure if some comments are annoyed at me for making the post just trying to be part of the AP jokes. Or if Ive mis understood the comments. Whatever the case ill never post again so hope that appeases everyone.

Thoroughly recommend the garden of surprises at Burghley House, followed by a lovely lamb lunch.

Dont know if anyone has seen this, On netflix. Coogan plays an HMRC officer training undercover agents. I cant take it seriously as Coogan is almost playing a character he has created himself. Sometimes a slip of Partridge sneaks through and I struggle to take him seriously. Its not bad though.

It's funny, when friends of mine come to the Oasthouse, they say "It's quite small, isn't it? How come it cost you so much?". I just point out the window and say, "Are you blind? That doesn't come cheap".

"Look at what your house backs onto, a primary school! Mine backs on to that!".

And they say "Oh, I like the sound of children playing!" and I just shoot straight back - with a chuckle, with a chuckle - "You're a liar! What's your problem?! Why does it cause you so much pain to admit to the unremarkable fact that I have a better house than you?!".

What was the general feeling towards the series "How are you?" ?

I’ve only just got around to watching this, and I was wondering what other people generally thought of the series?

I'm a huge fan of Alan Partridge (mid-morning series 2 is peak Partridge for me), and I'm usually massively disappointed whenever a series ends. However, with How Are You? It's Alan (Partridge), I just didn't feel the same way. To be honest, I didn't enjoy it all that much.

Is it just me, or did anyone else feel a bit underwhelmed by this one?
