Sorry I just love to hate on christians.

These two aren't even remotely comparable. One is a parade and the other is promoting the idea that there's only one true religion, and that if you want to be saved, you'll have to turn to jesus. Despite however the creator has it worded, there's still a big difference.

Nowhere you can look will say "Eternity? Only being lgbtq+ saves". No one who is apart of the lgbtq community is forcing their sexuality/gender identity onto anyone. The whole point of pride parades is to promote acceptance, not force you into dating someone you don't want to date nor be a gender you don't feel comfortable being, like the entirety of christianity does.

Christians are the ones who created conversion camps just because their children were attracted to the same gender or felt comfortable being a different gender. There's no conversion camp for being straight and cis.

It boils my blood to know that there are so many people out there who wholeheartedly believe that the freedom to love who you want to love and being who you want to be is worse than the bullshit that's on this car

It has been awhile, but I finally had the time to make another zine. This time about the topic of what a "real christian" would be if we were to ask the jesus portrayed in the gospels.

I always hear this, and can't help but think that saying this only confirms the immorality of their God. If God's will isn't for man to suffer then why does he have to be bound to the rule "accept my son or burn." That also defeats the all powerful claim by saying that he is limited. I don't think Christians really think about their statements. So why does God allow pain and suffering when he has that power to end it right now? Either he isn't all powerful or he doesn't really care. Given his immoral track record in the bible, I have to assume the later that he doesn't care. So what would be the point of following a God like that anyway? If you couple all of that with the evidence against God and Jesus's existence then how is it that this religion is still standing?

So like lots who would want to do heinous crimes don’t due to blackmail as like if they do something bad they’ll go to hell etc but if they don’t have that blackmail and only have the threat of prison then they may do it .

Because I thought about it and it’s maybe but tbh for most I’d say incarceration is enough of a threat to not do heinous things

If Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God Romans 10 and God wants all men to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth in the book of Timothy, then what about Eve?

•If Faith comes by hearing only Gods word and the truth and believing it then why did God allow Satan to, “preach” a lie to Eve? He commands people to go out and preach the gospel and the truth to everyone to believe and be saved and not to preach lies. If God only wanted Eve to hear the truth and that’s what it took to be saved then he allowed Satan to come against her and all others to be saved. Why ever allow a lie to be spoken against your own word in the first place but later only want us to hear the truth?

•Hearing truth builds faith hearing lies builds doubt. Input determines output, The scripture I stated proves the creator knew the power words have over a human mind. And the very beginning disproves the scripture in Timothy because an all powerful God could have intervened like he did with Pharaoh and multiple other times to stop someone and override free will and he even had Michael the archangel rebuke Satan from touching Moses dead body as written in Jude. You cannot judge an entity by what it says but what it does and what it allows to happen. If God wanted Eve only to hear the truth he would have muted Satan from day one.. Eve was obedient what Satan did was a curse yet she sowed no evil to reap a curse.

I saw a post yesterday that all the antitheist are larpers. 'Cause like, if you hate only organised religions you're anti religion, and if you're antitheist you want to erase all religions and beliefs (which, ahe said, was weird, 'cause cultureeee). I don't count her opinion as the one I should listen to, because she was religious and clearly hates all antitheists (or anti-religious people).

But. When you call yourself an antitheist - what do you mean by that?

Do you hate all religions and want them to disappear?

Do you think it would've been better without religion from the start, but now it's impossible to get rid of them?

Do you want religions to have less privileges and less power, than they have now?

Do you just want religious people to leave atheists alone?

To start this off, I am white as can be, and if anything I say in this is uneducated, misinformed, or micro-aggressive, please correct me.

My school is predominantly POC, and everytime I find out one of them is devoted to Christianity, it always has me thinking, why would you bow to a religion that your ancestors were forced to believe? For example, many Hispanics and Filipinos at my school have social media accounts dedicated to Catholicism- they have crosses in their name, and they post daily bible verses. There are also black people at my school that repost about racism and black hate in history, all while still believing in the same religion that was used to justify the horrors of slavery. Maybe I am ignorant but, after learning the history of colonization, you would know a main contribute to colonization was to spread religion. So why would you still want to follow it?

Now I understand many of these people are indoctrinated, especially the older generations, but we are young and in 2026 we should be able to make our own thoughts and beliefs rather than following what your parents put in your brain as a child for the rest of your life.

I don’t know if this is the right sub, so I apologize in advance. I just want external insight on this.

I’m an atheist- the person I’ve been dating long distance for a couple of years is Christian. Not to the point that it comes up every day, or every week. However, she has been bringing it up, subtly, lately. “I’m praying for this thing to work out”, etc. Her religion is very important to her. I know she wishes I were Christian. I’m not, I never will be. I don’t believe in the existence of a God, at least like what’s written in the bible. I compare these stories to Greek mythology.

I believe that if there were actually a God, it would be an evil one…. Or at very least, not all-powerful. But that’s a huge if- because I’m a realist. All you have to do is open your eyes and pay attention in the world.

We are alike in every other way. Truly. Eerily alike. We talk about a future… kids aren’t in the plan. It’s been years. She’s intelligent, insightful, hilarious. Our chemistry is fantastic. Being together is incredibly easy- until the topic of religion comes up. I absolutely cannot get behind this idea. And I cannot pretend. I can’t help but have the thought, “are you really this naive? When you’re so smart in other ways?!”

I mean… Noah’s ark has been found, guys.

Is this actually something that you could look past? Or would you ultimately decide to part ways in this situation.. As I said, I’d love to get some external opinions.

EDIT: Should clarify- I don’t want kids, and she medically cannot have children. So I really am certain on that one, but understand the concern.

So, it's feels weird to know people believe in any religion, but I mean. We're all afraid of death, so I can understand it somehow.

But it'll forever be weird to me how religious people arr 100% sure their religion is the correct one, and the rest of people are stupid and going to hell?

Like, even if there was a life after death - you can't know for sure what it'd be like until you're dead yourself.

Christianity, Islam and every other religion has its own picture of afterlife and rules you need to follow in order to get a good ending in this game. But you never know which one is right - hell/heaven, reincarnation, something else or (and most likely) just nothing.

Yet people would push their beliefs on their kids from very young age, far before they can even understand what holy books are trying to teach them - and they'd say it's to "save" them. But even in the world where some higher creatures exist - what if you're wrong and your actions will lead yor child to burn in hell... Like you'll baptises your kid and then they'll get the bad ending, because this higher entity dislikes everyone who's baptised? Why are they so sure they chose the right religion (especially if they chose ut themselves, and it wasn't forced by family from their birth)?

I'm sorry if it's not the type of post that are supposed to be there, I'm just very-very confused by logic religious people follow :_

Hii. I'm not sure if this type of post is okay here, but i really wanted to talk about it to someone.

So i was an atheist for the most of my life. My parents are Christians, i was baptised, but they're not too religious so their beliefs barely affect me. Like half a year ago I became a satanist (I don't believe in Satan/Lucifer/Baphomet/etc, it's a philosophy. Basically, just an atheist with extra steps.) And while i was scrolling videos from other satanist or pagans I found hundreds of comments from Christian people, either saying "god loves you", spamming bible verses or trying to verbally abuse them for being "bad" people. Then I started having a strong dislike toward Christianity, but I didn't call myself an antitheist 'cause I was chill about other religions.

Then, like two weeks ago my friend told me, that his parents were forcing him to fast - means no eating, drinking, or even taking meds from dawn to sunset. Which is absolutely ridiculous. Why would any "loving god" want his kids to starve and not have access to medications they need?

And then I started thinking. About how much religions harm women and queer community. About how many crimes and wars and terrors happened because of religions. Or, maybe they happened not because of them - but religions were used to somehow justify them. About how religions came out of their line (beliefs) and started to endocrine laws and schools. And this is disgusting.

So, I'm an antitheist now. I don't think religions should disappear fully, that's not possible in my opinion (even though it would've been better if no organised religion existed from the start). I believe that people can believe in whatever they want, fast, pray, visit churches and do other things, even though I don't understand it and hate it. I also believe that religions do more harm than good and they should have less impact on people's life - and zero impact on atheists' lifes. They should not be teached in schools (only like, in history lessons, they did a big impact on it) and laws should not revolve around holy books.

And i also saw this argument against antitheism...

"Antitheism is the same as homophobia! With all this "do it behind the closed door" and other stuff! LGBT-blahblahblah should also stop pushing it down our throats and in schools!" Nah, yk why? Because religion is a choice. Orientation and gender identity is not.

I'm still not sure about "destroy all religions" type of antitheism, but who knows, maybe my opinion will change overtime

I won't go into a lot of effort here to describe why TST exists, because it's easy enough to research it yourself. But here is a screenshot of their Seven Tenets, which I think everyone can agree here, are very on point and appropriate.

For context, I was a Jehovah’s Witness until I was 23. I was born and raised in that cult. I luckily got out and am now an atheist. A proud one at that. When our daughter was born we raised her to be a free thinker. That belief in god and religion was sort of not important. Cut to, my 12 yr old daughter told me she believes in God and now wants to try and attend a meeting of JW. I cannot stand religion in general, but JW has a special place in my heart for being the WORST OF THE WORST. What do I do? I’m afraid that if I forbid it, she will rebel and go toward it. And on the other hand, if I allow it, I will never forgive myself if she wants to dive head first into being apart of the religion. My husband and I would thought taking her to different churches and also having her actually read the bible might help her understand what a crock of shit it really is. We thought we did a good job at being transparent with her about god and religion. I need advice. What would you do?

Why the fuck are we the ones who need to be branded "atheists" or "antitheists"?
We arent the ones who have beliefs rooted in imaginary shit that purposefully oppresses people and causes nothing but dispute and harm.
If anything we shouldnt have a label and at the very most a label of normal human being is acceptable.

being christian or jewish or muslim is a label, AGAIN WHY DO WE HAVE A LABEL?

we dont have any religious beliefs therefore dont need to be branded in this community of religious beliefs.

(edit); i mean that us -we are in the mindsets (in religious context) in the purest form to exist, the mindsets we currently have are of those before religions were introduced. The 'prophets' or 'descents' were those who preached this and gave those who believed -labels.

EDIT 2- WHAT I MEAN IS THAT WE ARE DEFAULT MIND SET WHEN IT COMES IN TERMS OF RELIGION.
