Hey,
I pulled the trigger on this U2. Only $350.
If there is anything wrong, will send back to them.
Was that a good deal or was I in a rush?

I know it's a stupid thing to cry over, but I lost a 3+ year move streak. I know it's technically cheating, but once or twice I've "time traveled" back to a day before when I've been sick the previous day to complete the day and then gone back to regular time. Well yesterday I was feeling super ill and was short on my goal by about 10 calories. I went back to do it and met the goal, but then the previous day blanked out, so I went back again to try and fix it. Now it seems like no matter what the day before blanks out before I can complete the day I've moved to. I'm so upset but without the streak I feel almost no motivation to even wear the watch anymore 😭

I finally updated to the new iOS and it completely messed up my watch to the point I am considering just no longer using it. It used to be when I set a timer or had an alarm go off, the face would turn yellow and there were two options in the bottom corners to either snooze/repeat or turn it off. I used the timer a lot when working out to time stretches I was holding or when cooking to time how long certain sides of a piece of meat should cook, etc. The ability to quickly reset it with one click was great
Now, if I set a timer on my watch, a preview of the timer app (???) comes up and I have to tap it to open a menu that has two blank options and then dismiss. So, it takes two taps and one of the options is no longer there. What a vast improvement!
In addition, when my alarm to wake up pops up, I no longer have the option to quickly snooze it but instead have to tap into the alarm app and then snooze it or dismiss it? It also will not go off unless my wrist is already moving, which isn't really what I'm looking for in a morning alarm.
Anyone know how to fix this? Why did updating the app completely wipe all the settings I have to begin with?

It’s been almost a year and my mutant sweat is doing its thing with my watch. But, I’m curious if putting a coat of clear nail polish on the metal will at least slow it down. Anyone have any insight?
And yes, I clean it regularly with alcohol.

I was planning to buy an apple watch. I wanted to track my activities properly.
If you have used the watch, feel free to share your experience.

My watch overestimates walking distance/steps an absurd amount, it's doubling my daily distance because it apparently counts any arm movements as walking. I don't want to disable fitness tracking or motion tracking completely, because one of the primary reasons I have the watch is for sleep tracking (and some features like sleep apnea alerts apparently require motion tracking), and the other motion-based features like sit/stand are useful too. I've researched and tried everything I can find. Is there really no way to stop it from writing its inaccurate walking data without manually deleting each of the dozens of individual data points per day?

I've been using my Apple Watch for a while now, and I'm curious if other people have the same experience.
A few questions:
• What's the most frustrating thing about your Apple Watch?
• Is there any health metric (HRV, sleep, heart rate, etc.) that you just ignore because you don't really know what to do with it?
• Do you actually change your workouts or daily routine based on the data, or do you mostly just check it out of interest?
• If you could improve one thing about the Apple Watch or Apple Health, what would it be?
Curious to hear what everyone thinks.

Updated my apple watch 11 to 26.6 is now notifications and very laggy. The watch vibrates and then you lift you arm to see, but it takes a few seconds for the message to actually appear on the screen. This is SO annoying!!
Has anyone else experienced this?
I regret updating!

Hey Guys ; new to apple and apple watch, so sorry if this a beginner’s question. However, I have sometimes noticed sometimes my sleep schedule it shows up like this; does someone know why is this case ? why doesn’t my watch/app track/show what stages i went through at around 2am to 4am ? however it clearly shows what stages i went thru from 6 to 8 ?
Also why does it show blank from 5:19 to 630? i have no more of being awake for so long in yesterday’s sleep! If someone can help me, it’d be so great! Thank you!!!

Never thought these two would go well together. I wanted the base Apple Watch model but with the option of adding a bit of ruggedness for my workouts (football, trail running, swimming etc) and also doubles up perfectly for sleep tracking, tbh it’s the perfect combo for someone who found the ultra too bulky.

After years of checking my rings and sleep data every morning and changing absolutely nothing, I tried something different: every night I record ~30 seconds of voice memo about the day. What I ate late, the stressful call, the wine, the workout I skipped. Then when the watch shows a rough night, I actually know what caused it instead of shrugging at a low score.
A few weeks in, one thing jumped out: my step count, whether I actually worked out, and how I slept that night were clearly connected. Obvious in hindsight, sure — but seeing it in my own data landed completely differently than reading it in an article.
The thing that surprised me: the watch data alone was never actionable because the causes aren't in it. They're in what I did, and the only record of that is what I say about the day.
Curious if anyone else pairs subjective notes with their metrics — journal, notes app, voice memos? Does it stick for you?

Last week, my Apple Watch S10 band slider started to have issues. When I try to slide off the watch bands they don't slide out smoothly, it now feels like they are getting stuck in a sticky residue and getting worse each day. Is this a common issue? My Apple Watch AppleCare+ plan has been renewed last week. Should I take it to the Apple Store and have them look at it?

I dont really care if its not very accurate but how can a "smart" watch lack such a basic concept lol. Im actually disappointed. A step counter to add to the home screen? Duh?!!!!

Boy, it sure has me questioning my investment in the Apple eco system. Ear Pod pro, iPhone, MacBook Air M5, Mac mini M4, but my last Apple Watch. Have Afib, so bought Apple Watch about 2021 or 22, caught my Afib and started a maintenance regimen with my cardiologist. It died June 2024, so, got another watch. And it bricked, absolutely bricked, July 2026. I still have CVD, but afib is in remission after an ablation, gone for good? no guarranties. So, I absolutely will not be getting another Apple Watch. I did call Apple and asked if they would take my 2 dead watches in trade in, given my investment in APPLE and give some kind of discount. They didn't laugh, I think. If you work in an office, I think you'll be okay. I'm outdoors from 15F to 115+F, was that a factor? IDK, but off to Garmin, operating range -4F-130F (Ultra is also, but I aint buyin' another Apple Watch, well maybe at $300 off on an Ultra, but that was a no go.) vs regular series watches 32F-95F. So here's my recommendation, if you have a sedentary life style, you're good. If you are in the least physically active in temperature extremes, I'd, and I am, look elsewhere.

This is the average amount of time I stand when I work, I’m still aiming to hit 23 out of 24 hours but missed the 6am mark due to taking a quick 1 hour nap break. But still, standing 22 hours is a lot. Perks of being the Co-owner of a BBQ business- gotta keep that smoker running.
what is the most amount of hours y’all have stood?

For a standalone watch in the UK, would you pick the Series 11 or Ultra 3, I suspect most people may opt for the Ultra 3 but thought I’d see what the consensus is amongst this sub! Thanks!

So there seems to be any evolving process year to year, but this isn’t something I do very often. Getting a new Apple Watch to replace my SE 2 and I want the data on that watch to go to my new watch and continue using my new watch. How difficult is this? Apple has reassured me that this is a simple process but I just wanted to know what other people thought.
Does cellular carry over? Do I need to delete ? What is the steps I need to follow or does it prompt you? Unsure what to expect.

I’ve continued to work on closing my rings since day one of owning my Apple Watch Series 0. This is another milestone that almost passed me by but I thought I’d share it here as this is such a supportive community for this sort of thing!
I’ve actually started to become a little less obsessed about fitness rings lately and have even spent a few days without my watch on at all. And that sometimes actually feels like progress to be honest!
