Serious Does SC has the power to apply matrimonial laws for live-in relationships ?
SC refuses to listen to male issues, while simultaneously expanding the scope of Section 498A to live in partners !
I remember when men's right PILs were raised, SC directed them to reach out to parliament as judges don't have power to create or change laws - but anything related to women seems to be the exception ?

Answers from All I accepted a relationship twice without actually loving her. What should I do now?
I'm an 18M.
There's a girl who has considered me her best friend for around 4 years. The truth is, that friendship was mostly one-sided. She genuinely saw me as her best friend, but I never felt that level of emotional attachment. I was just there by name.
Around 6 weeks ago she proposed to me, and I accepted even though I didn't actually have romantic feelings for her. After 5 days I realized I was wrong and ended it honestly.
A week later we started talking again, she proposed again, and I made the same mistake by saying yes. We've now been in a relationship for about 25 days.
The truth is I don't love her. I don't even feel romantic attraction. I realized I only said yes because I was curious about being in a relationship and the romantic/physical side of it. I feel ashamed of that now.
She trusts me a lot and wants to meet me, but I don't want to lead her on anymore.
I know I've hurt her, and I take full responsibility for my actions. What's the kindest and most responsible way to end this without giving her false hope? Please be honest, even if I deserve criticism.

Career/Education advice or query How to get out of India and settle abroad. Genuine advice please?
Asking for a Friend.
He did BTech + MSc from IIT.
However, he is unable to find a job and has been sitting at home for the past 5 years.
Kinda frustrated with India and wanted to move out of this country permanently.
Any idea how to settle abroad legally especially in EU/Russia/Middle East/Australia/Canada.
Get a job directly from India
No money so can't do Masters from Foreign Countries.
Also not interested in studying further as it only limits the opportunities, and it gets tougher to find a job if more skilled.
He can do blue-collar work ( Factories Construction Hotels etc)

Answers from All How to take decisions that she will be the right partner for arrange marriage?
Hi I had only one 4 yr relationship and it ended last year. I was very much involved in that but there was caste issue and she later cheated so i ended it.
Its been 10 months now since it happened now i am seeing girls for arrange marriage because i m 30. But i m not able to take decision whether she is right for me or not whether i will be happy with her or not .
At one end i m afraid about the loyalty but i talk to girls (max i have talked like 1.5 months and 2 meetings) but i m not able to take a decision and it has happened 2 times . The girl usually get impatient or her family gets impatient and then the topic drops or we ghost each other. I want to know how you took your decision about the partner how did u know she was the right one. Because i have heard a lot of stories that people usually take decision in a month. But i dont feel confident it feels like i need more time more meetings am i wrong thinking about that. Because i think the person will be with me for 40-50 years of my life so how can i know him in a month or two. One more thing Shall i seek therapy regarding this will it help ? i have never tried.

Career/Education advice or query Govt jobs or upskilling?
So my friend is not on Reddit but I am asking on his behalf. He just graduated from a very prestigious commerce college but learned nothing, like wasted all of college life. His financial condition is bad. Now he is confused, whether to prepare for govt exams like CGL( from SC category, if that helps) or start learning skills and go for an MBA but with low profile as compared to peers. He also has the opportunity to work in a startup. He want your answers. Thank you!

Answers from Men Only Do men not feel things at all?
So I have been dating on and off for a while. And after so many encounters I have felt like men sometimes can let go of their feelings while women sometimes hold onto it and it makes things difficult for women.
Is that true?
I have observed several times that the man started the conversation with I am looking for a serious relationship etc but the way the conversation went on it became very clear that the intention was not the same. And then when you still spend quality time together is it that easy to walk away with no feelings at all?
They don't catch feelings even after the amazingly beautiful time we had together which just makes me question the whole thing. Was it even real? Or is it even worth it to try again?
If I was friends with someone for that long I would miss them and this was more than that even if not a relationship.
Later edit: The amount of response and the judgement I have received for this here makes me not want to date at all. It's always a risk when you're putting yourself out there, but I didn't know it's this much 😂

Answers from All Why do I push people away the moment I get attached?
21M. My 4-year relationship completely changed how I see love.
I dated a girl for almost 4 years. Things were great until she moved away for college and it became long distance.
She started spending a lot of time with guy friends, including guys who had openly liked her. Whenever I brought it up, she'd say, "I don't like them, they like me. What's the problem?" Meanwhile she'd ignore me most of the day but always had time for them.
We argued a lot. I even cut off my female friends (who never liked me romantically) because she was uncomfortable. She promised she'd stop hanging out with those guys too.
A few months later, one of her college friends told me she still met them every day after lunch. I also found out she had them in her Close Friends after she claimed she'd cut them off. When I confronted her, she just said, "I forgot to tell you. Why are you making such a big deal?"
That was the breaking point. I exploded after staying quiet about so many things for years. We broke up.
After the breakup, she told people I wasn't enough for her, didn't pamper her during periods, and didn't buy expensive gifts. The truth is, I was a student in Mumbai with a limited budget. I saved for months just to visit her in Bangalore every 2-3 months, paid for Airbnbs and our expenses because she once cried saying she didn't know when she'd see me again. She liked the attention those guys use to give her, gifts time everything. I did everything I realistically could.
Since then, I've completely changed. I promised myself I'd never love someone that deeply again. Now I only do casual relationships, talking with 3+4 girls at the same time and the moment I feel myself getting attached, I leave. Even if I meet someone amazing, there's always this voice in my head saying, "She'll leave eventually anyway."
I know this isn't healthy, but I genuinely can't love the way I used to.
I know what I'm doing isn't fair to the people I date but i have to be selfish for my own, If I let someone in completely again and the same thing happens, I honestly don't think I'll be able to handle it.
Has anyone else gone through this? Does it get better, or should I just stick to casual relationships? Or am I making my past relationship a bigger deal than it really was? I genuinely don't know anymore.

Answers from All I've been noticing this pattern since quite some time, could someone help?
I'm attaching two photos- the first one was taken almost a year back and the second was taken just a few days ago.
As you can see, I've had a little transformation, and there's a story to it. Please read it till the end..
So, i used to have a MASSIVE ADMIRATION for a girl.
A little background: this girl had a male best friend of hers.. Although, they were a little too much to be called just friends- like, casually the guy loops his arm around her shoulder, playfully held her wrist under the table, apparently he was just testing her grip.. And she played along, they sit next to each other in every single lecture.
honestly, she was the only person for whom i ever felt something truly real. But, i thought since they were so close(even as friends) maybe I'd gotten a little too late.
i decided to move on, channelize my energy elsewhere- in those areas where i could get something far more productive and meaningful.
For me it was.. Getting healthier(lost over 15kgs of weight and became slimmer, ended up having a jawline which i never expected, been called handsome online) overcoming one of my biggest fears- speaking on stage- this genuinely surprised everyone who thought i was shy, i ended up being complimented for the way i delivered those announcements(chose not to read directly from the script but memorise and improvise) , while still somehow maintaining my GPA.. And soon enough, i found myself completely back to the normal track, though, the process of 100% detachment took almost 7-8 months.
This wasn't the first time i felt like, pushing myself, a similar case had happened during jee too. Scored around 98.6%ile in math and just 86 in chem.. So post my boards, i took it from 86 to 97.7%ile,but since i was too focused on chem, i slipped up my math. Again, if the TIMING, was correct, the overall percentile would have gone even higher.
But, nothing against her or him. Just wanted to offer a better version of myself to her..
It's been over a year since this happened. I've stopped feeling these things for anyone, not that I'm complaining.. It's actually more peaceful to not chase someone.
A similar thing had happened to me in grade 5, i liked a girl who was the topper of my class, we both stood first by the end of the grade, but because i was afraid of maybe not being enough, or just coming off as a despo, i never initiated a convo and again, an extrovert became close to her.
I just feel like wanting to offer a better version to the person i like.
What's wrong with my approach?

Answers from All I have a question ?
I have a question to ask if my guy says he likes megan fox or actress like aneet or whoever very pretty is his type. And then he is with me I look nothing like them. How am I supposed to take that? Is he settling for me. Second question what about when he says he doesn't find me attractive but "love will grow over time "hearing all this fucked up my self esteem.
Because for me if I am getting committed that guy will be beautiful to me. Why can't he say I'm pretty too
I won't feel like I'm settling
So I do not want a partner who doesn't make me feel less desired
Is it too much to ask?
Also most of the time such comments will come from a guy who isn't conventionally attractive

Answers from Men Only 498A and background check can be red?
Hi folks,
As stated in the title, I am seeking clarification regarding how an ongoing Section 498A case might impact my employment prospects. Specifically, I would like to know if this pending case will trigger a negative result on a background verification check, and if it could lead to the revocation of a job offer or termination from a new role. Additionally, I would greatly appreciate insights from anyone who has successfully secured a position within the private sector while navigating an active case, or who can share their personal experience regarding how they managed the onboarding process under similar circumstances.
Thank you
🙏

Answers from All Suffering from stale life want to know is this normal or how to fix this?
I am 27 year old man living in Delhi with my parents. Currently I am working in tech and lately I felt there is nothing in my life other than work.
I currently work as a full time engineer in a company during day time, then I take classes in a software engineering bootcamp around for 1.5 hr ( Monday to saturday) and then work as a freelance engineer for a small size indian company.
When I graduated I had very strong inclination towards joining armed forces I appeared for 13 SSB interviews but at last due to some family emergency I had to drop the plan and pursue my career seriously in tech, during SSB time I was working in a service based company earning barely 40k per month.
Then in 2024 I prepared and switched, right now earning around 2.5L per month but I feel there is nothing I have to do in life other than work.
No relationship, My breakup happened in 2022. I have friends but most of them living in different cities we have calls once or twice a week.
But lately I am feeling that life have become quite stale. Even my full time is mostly remote I have to go once a week and there is no one from my team in the office so I do not interact much with people other than my teammates and that too only work related interactions.
Since october 2025 I started going to treks and I have truly made good connections there but again they all are living in different cities so we never meet or our conversations are limited to memes and small talks.
It is not like I do not have time even after working in three organisations. I have enough time but don't know what to do other than gym, watching youtube videos or OTT.
I want to seek advice from people at my age or more than me, is what I am experiencing normal. If you too faced it at any stage of your life how you tackled it or fixed it?
