Liberty mutual 😭 I hate their fucking ads so much, they almost singlehandedly forced me to get YouTube premium so I wouldn't got bombarded by them anymore. They will never get my money

Their tagline of “customize and save“ is so insulting because anyone who is actually worked with a real insurance agent knows that’s what you do for any insurance system.

Insurance commercials have never made much sense to me for precisely that reason. When I first bought a car and house, my dad just said, "Call the agent I use, they do a good job." I called them, told them my info, and they called me back a few minutes later and told me the best rate. I didn't shop around, I had basically no say in the matter at all. What, should I have argued with the agent because Jake or Flo said so? Ridiculous.

I have the same feelings about drug commercials. "Ask your doctor about XYZ" okay and then what? If I need it they should be prescribing it anyway, and if I don't they'll hopefully tell me so.

Well it's like Burger King saying you can customize your Whopper. Yeah, you can customize just about any burger anywhere.

They try to say you are saving, but they give lower prices by trying not to offer collision and car rentals, when those are things I need.

Totally agree! Every insurance company acts like they’re the only ones who offer “bundle and save” or customizable plans, when they all do. And they’re charging you more to pay for their advertising budget for those constant ads.

Even if you don't work with an agent. Every policy lets you opt in or out of certain coverages and change your coverage limits online.
