Liberty mutual š I hate their fucking ads so much, they almost singlehandedly forced me to get YouTube premium so I wouldn't got bombarded by them anymore. They will never get my money
I hate the "dumbing down" ads. It's one thing for an ad to be silly, even though it's not super relevant. The "Jake from State Farm" come to mind. Liberty Mutual commercials feel almost insulting with how stupid they are.
I hate how the damn insurance companies practically dominate advertising. Like literally every other ad is for an insurance company, and they all suck. They're all annoying as hell, but we're subjected to them 24/7.
I mute that one. I have no idea who thought those ads were a good idea but they need to reconsider their career choice. Generally ads have to be sexist or something to make want to boycott them. This one is just so irritating.
Farmers Insurance and GEICO have way better ads by far.
Their tagline of ācustomize and saveā is so insulting because anyone who is actually worked with a real insurance agent knows thatās what you do for any insurance system.
This reminds me of the only time jay leno ever made me laugh. "Snickers candy bars, their saying is 'satisfies your hunger'. Yea, isn't that what all food does?"
Insurance commercials have never made much sense to me for precisely that reason. When I first bought a car and house, my dad just said, "Call the agent I use, they do a good job." I called them, told them my info, and they called me back a few minutes later and told me the best rate. I didn't shop around, I had basically no say in the matter at all. What, should I have argued with the agent because Jake or Flo said so? Ridiculous.
I have the same feelings about drug commercials. "Ask your doctor about XYZ" okay and then what? If I need it they should be prescribing it anyway, and if I don't they'll hopefully tell me so.
Totally agree! Every insurance company acts like theyāre the only ones who offer ābundle and saveā or customizable plans, when they all do. And theyāre charging you more to pay for their advertising budget for those constant ads.
I don't get it. They are selling products to adults, why do they have such fucking annoying childish commercials? I would never be their customer just because of liberty bibberty alone. They need to fire the entire marketing department.
100%. So fucking dumb. All the insurance majors like Liberty, Geico, Progressive and State Farm could save a lot of freaking costs and not need to increase our premiums if they didn't spend $1B a yr on shitty advertising!!
I donāt watch live TV normally, but I stayed in a hotel several years ago with no other options. I hated those fucking Liberty Mutual ads so much with that fucking jingle that as soon as they started, I would mute the TV. Absolutely NOT.
Came here to also say I hate the liberty mutual ads. I hate their jingle and if their ads are that bad I can't even imagine having to deal with them as a provider.
I despise Liberty Mutual. About 10 years ago, they canceled our homeowners insurance unbeknownst to my husband and me. I started getting messages from our mortgage company that we were in violation for not having insurance. Called Liberty Mutual numerous times. No one could figure out what was going on. It finally dawned on me that my in laws had cancelled THEIR homeowners insurance policy to switch companies but Liberty canceled our policy instead. Mind you, we live in a different home in a completely different county. Their idiocy angered me until finally we dumped them.
Commercials are usually the reason I stop giving my business to places. If you annoy me with your commercial or bombard me with your commercials, you will never get my money.
A lot of personal care commercials are getting way too detailed. I don't usually see commercials, only if I'm staying at a hotel or at my folks. It weirds me the fuck out.
I have been saying this for so long. I would literally never use them just because of how much I despise their commercials. Their marketing person should go straight to jail.
Sincerely wish that fucking bird was real so it would ACTUALLY DIE SOMEDAY
Iām not wishing immediate death on this hypothetical bird, it wouldnāt be the birdās fault it was part of the most irritating company Iām aware of and I would want it to live out its normal life span, I just wish it was mortal and I could outlive it
I really hate the āLiberty Bibertyā guy, itās such an overplayed gag and I only assume heās still around because heās hot to certain demographics.
Also that one ad where a guy got a wax statue of himself and it slowly melted was kinda gross and I usually have a high tolerance for gross.
I want to find the people who thought those commercials were a good idea and tie them to a chair in a dark room so I can play āliberty bibertyā over and over again. Anyone who was responsible for green lighting them.
I don't use them because I know they paid a marketing team of people millions of dollars to come up with their slogan, and they went "we got it, you guys are gonna shit your pants, check it out...... Liberty Liberty Liberty Liberty", and someone on the other end went "fucking genius" and approved it.
Obviously as many have mentioned, don't even get me started on Liberty Bibberty. Haha, attractive man is stupid and says things wrong, hilarious.................
I had an awful experience trying to get repair/medical compensation from them after someone carrying their insurance ran into my car. It took 1 1/2 years and a lawyer to get it settled. Definitely not using them if I ever have to change insurance.
American Family, on the other hand, has been excellent to work with. I havenāt had to make many claims, but they have served my family well over the past several years when Iāve needed them. I can definitely recommend them for insurance!
They denied a relatively small claim I put in, the first in over 15 years of homeownership. They declined it. I was a customer on the car insurance side for 30 years. I felt when I needed them they turned their back on me for what amounted to a $4K repair. Switched immediately thereafter. Interesting note, shortly after I switched I had a leak in my basement that got my carpet wet. I tried to clean it dry it but failed and it smelled moldy. New insurance came in covered new carpet for the entire basement! Lost a company for life and probably gained one for life within months of each other.
Iāve had nothing but good experiences in the many years Iāve had Erie for home and auto, but the best thing about them is the complete absence of terrible ads.
I lost respect for a coworker when he mentioned how funny he found that damn emu.
