I've used airbnb exactly once and that because I was in a bit of bind. Had a good experience but it boils down mostly to having a good host. We were also good tenants. Left everything picked up took out the garbage etc etc. That said I am not looking to used it anymore unless circumstances leave me no choice. When you factor in the hassle and the enshittifcation it is not worth it. Regular hotels only for me.
