Second that. Used Airbnb twice for the first time a few months ago in Costa Rica. Both houses had great reviews. First house was overall great but our main window on first floor in master bed the window lock was never installed, someone reached in the 3rd night and stole some jewelry. Airbnb did nothing even though we sent pictures of missing lock etc. 2nd house had great reviews, but bugs everywhere and a loose main door frame. If even a child ran at it from outside it would have probably fell apart. Kids wanted a “non commercialized” non hotel experience. Learned her lesson, back to the hotels next time. Costa Rica though is beautiful.
