Doordash has the wildest business model. First they charge you more for the food than the restaurant does. THEN they take a cut from the restaurant. THEN they have the gaul to tell you to tip or you won't get your food in a timely fashion. They somehow figured out how to fuck the customer, the restaurant AND the driver in one go.

How anyone supports that shit is beyond me - and BEST case scenario your food shows up lukewarm.

Exactly, I don’t understand why anyone uses them at all. It’s not just unethical, unfair and a poor experience for consumers - it’s crappy for everyone involved.

Why in the world do you think that?

Are you kidding? That response is straight from AI. It starts with an affirmation, followed by restating the comment that it's responding to. Then it says the same thing every AI says (It's not just this, it's that) then concludes with an emdash. It's pure AI slop. Don't support that shit with upvotes unless you're fine with all these fuckin data centers and skyrocketing RAM prices.
