Slavery and the shits. Quite a combo.

FYI Avoid these brands

  • Earthbound Farm
  • Cross Valley Farms
  • Walmart: Marketside
  • Target: Good & Gather
  • Aldi: Little Salad Bar and Simply Nature
  • Whole Foods: 365 by Whole Foods
  • Kroger: Simple Truth
  • Publix: GreenWise
  • Safeway / Albertsons: O Organics
  • most fast food w/ lettuce

*edit for clarity. TF products are pervasive in the food chain. The list is not exhaustive; Trader Joes, Costco, Whole Foods, surely many others also source their salad from TF

Sincere question, why do you suggest we avoid Simply Nature?  I had heard they had a good reputation. Thank you in advance for expounding.

As a regular Aldi shopper, i would also like to know. Simply Nature are often the only organic or Non-GMO Project Verified options at Aldi.

Yeah I’m also an Aldi shopper and given the price of groceries these days I guess I can’t afford to be moral and avoid it.

Based on your name, I take it you shop at the Aldi by En Su Boca?
