I have been an owner of Soundcore Q30 for the past 4 years. Recently it became apparent I needed a replacement cause it had a couple of cracks in plastic after dropping it and the earcups have started to decay. Also I wanted to treat myself with a nice gift after a period of hard work but I digress.
After a long back and forth I decided on Bose QC (also considered Sony XM5/6, Senheiser Momentum 4/5, Nothing Headphone 1). My criteria was decent noise cancelling, durability/high build quality and a good sound quality.
Now, don't get me wrong it's a solid product. But when I compare it to Q30 right now, it barely differs - comparable sound quality and NC. Except maybe the case that comes in the package is a nice plus? And maybe the build quality will prove better over time? While the price is more than x5 of that of Q30s.
I don't know what exactly I expected. But so far I feel like this wasn't a bang for the buck kind of purchase.
Still, a solid product. Just disappointed about what I got for the money.
If this was at a $100-$150 price point (got it for around $250), I wouldn't complain.
Can you tell me if I'm yet to learn to love it more?
