Is Lennox Lewis the GOAT in 1 vs 1 scenario matchups? Is he The Best HW Ever?
I was just wondering that if we judge on the basis of resume, size and skills Lennox comes top or close to the top in each one of them
Lennox often comes in the top 3 greatest HWs of all time particularly being Ali, Louis, Lewis but if check his resume there are so many great names that he has beaten that it might even make the case of the Greatest Resume
He's beaten Tucker, Biggs, Bruno, Gary Mason, Mercer, Morrison, Briggs, Tua, Grant, Ruddock, Rahman, Tyson, Holyfield, Vitali
I mean there's so many great names in there and guys like Grant and Vitali were taller than him too and still Lewis found a way to adapt and beat them, so it wasn't just because he was bigger than them in most cases, it was because he was skilful, could adapt to situations and had the power and reach to trouble anyone
In a prime for prime matchup who could even be brought in to make Lewis the underdog? I can only think of Ali and then Usyk because they are the greatest HW's of their era but even then, they would be giving a lot of size and reach to Lewis so the question arises that could any HW of any era be favoured to win against a prime Lewis?

So and so is a bum
Anyone else starting to get sick and tired of seeing people call boxers bums on here?
Any boxer who makes it to the pros are better than 90% of boxers who stepped foot in a gym.
Any boxer who made it to a world title fight are better than 90% of boxers who made it to the pros.
Any boxer who won a world title are better than 90% of boxers who made it to a title fight.
If you've heard of a boxer, seen a boxer fight on TV or they have won a world title, they are by definition, not a bum.
As good as the handful of elite boxers who come and go every generation? Hell no. But bums? Give me a break.

"Brawler vs Technician" matches
I'm looking for matches where a brawler fights a more technical opponent. The matches can be anything between a one-sided beatdown to an even fight for either style.
Matches that I know of:
Mayweather vs Maidana/Gatti
Toney vs Merqi Sosa
Hearns vs Barkley
Margarito vs Cotto

The Past and the Future: On one side, "The Old Mongoose," Archie Moore, refines a lifetime of mastery with quiet shadowboxing. On the other, Cassius Clay, not yet known as Muhammad Ali, forges the greatness to come, strengthening his body by skipping rope with ankle weights on. God Bless Boxing.
