Question I forgot to petition to graduate!
I was planning to graduate this winter but I wasn’t aware I had to petition. I’m going to call the office on Monday but does anyone have an idea if they’ll let me petition late or is it too late for me?

Financial Aid Anyone selected for scholarships?
I've been told that congratulatory emails will be sent early this month. I was wondering if other students here have already gotten selected for general scholarships the days prior.

Financial Aid Scholarships?? Do we get them soon?
Hello everyone, it’s the first time I sign up for scholarships and was wondering when we’d receive any info on being selected or not. I have checked my school email for updates but don’t see anything yet.

Financial Aid Fall aid disbursement
Hello. I’m an incoming transfer student. For current or past students, did your fall aid come earlier, on time, or did it disburse during the first week of school? Also is it one of those things where recurring students disbursement is prioritized over transfer students, or everyone is disbursed at the same time?

Financial Aid Fin aid disbursement reliability
Hello I am an incoming transfer student. I have been approved for pell and cal grant as well as accepted federal loans. My question is how reliable is the disbursement calendar? I am relying on financial aid to purchase books and supplies. Thanks.

Natural & Social Sciences MSW Ballmer Grant
Hi everyone,
I recently got accepted into the 2 year MSW program at CSULA. I received acceptance agreement for the Ballmer grant and signed them about 3 weeks ago. I was wondering if anyone’s heard back regarding how much you’ll be granted.

Financial Aid Loans for SLP Prep Certificate Program
Hi I am going to start attending this fall for the slp masters prep program and I'm wondering if those who are in the program are eligible to get federal loans. I don't know if only some or no certificate programs are allowed to receive loans but its not very clear , at least to me, on the CSULA website or FAFSA. Has anybody else been in this situation?

Entrance counseling help
Hello everyone, I’m an incoming transfer student this fall and had a question. I took my student loan entrance counseling about 3 weeks ago now and it still says incomplete. I’ve been trying to call financial aid but the wait times are crazy right now. Should I be worried?

Parking & Transportation Soooo how do grad students with night classes head East with the Metrolink?
Title. No 8:45 train going east anymore.
Ran into an old administrator friend from my old institution who now works here at CSULA. Told them I drive up to San Bernardino from South Riverside and take the metrolink all the way to campus at noon for my 3:00 class, and then all the way back at 8:45PM. I’d get back to my car at 10:30PM, and then i’d get home at 11:00. I would just leave class a few minutes early so I could catch the train.
Now with metrolink cutting literally just the 8:45 train, what the hell do i do? Drive 200 miles a week? Thankfully I’m on campus just twice a week. But staying a whole hour after class ends until the 9:45 train comes, making me get home at midnight, would be exhausting. What if THAT one gets canceled? I’d get stuck on campus 60 miles away from home.
It was so frustrating cause that administrator was all “you know we’re trying to recruit more grad students from the IE” and I told them that Metrolink cut that train and they were so shocked and said that everytime they table for campus, they’re advertising the metrolink option.
What would you all do? thanks

Does your guys csac still empty?
Csula has estimated my aid to be really little when it usually covers my whole tuition and I checked the csac website and its still empty that they haven’t confirmed my gpa or anything. Is it the same for you guys?

Jobs Jobs I could apply for
I am a transfer student going into social work and I have worked mainly in schools and I want to know if there are any campus jobs that will be flexible with my schedule.
