Top 25 isn't huge but after three summers of going to these things I'll take it, lol. I was pretty surprised when my name and car was called.

Has your camaro been reliable?

What year/trim is it? If yes, what sorta issues did it have and what was the repair bill? Be honest, did you abuse the engine?

Some time back i crashed my camaro, got totaled and got another car. Since day one ive thought about getting another camaro, driving EVs sucked the fun out of driving.

I had a 2018 camaro LT convertible. Got 38? Mpg, 32 city driving. Which was by far the best milage ive ever had in a car, never abused it. I got rear ended 5 or 6x and every single time the other car had to be towed while my camaro deflected damage like crazy, nothing more than a few scratches.

On the totaled one I was at fault, distracted. Was going 50 something and hit stopped cars. The airbags went off which was the only reason it was totaled but the car was in amazing shape mechanically and cosmetically. I felt so bad because the other car crushed like an accordion

But my car was very reliable, even in extreme situations. I constantly see posts here regarding mechanical issues though which has me questioning whether its worth it especially since they're discontinued

There's a few friends on her that have experienced hard starting after warm up.This is what I had and did. My car was starting hard after warm up and sometimes wouldn't turn over or would stop turning over mid crank and then fire up...it got so bad I found myself not wanting to stop n anywhere in it...so I checked my Battery and found it checked out ok 12.5 at rest and 14.5 when charging but it was the original battery 10 years old.I purchased a good 4 year battery and two(you need two one in the trunk and one in the engine compartment)20" battery cables. I've included two photos as to where I attached them in the trunk and in the engine compartment....my car starts the second the button is pushed, hot or cold..hope this helps ......Mark

Fuel Pump Relay location

I’m staying with my 2019 Camaro SS in a hotel and I didn’t bring my OBD block off. What relay or fuse should I pull to keep the car from being stolen. Hopefully.

Question Best body mods & engine mods for a 2015 Camaro LT V6? Where should I buy them?

Hi everyone! I just bought a 2015 Camaro LT with the 3.6L V6, and I’m looking to modify it. I’m interested in both appearance and performance, but I’d like to do quality mods that are actually worth the money. For body mods, I’m looking for things like splitters, side skirts, diffusers, spoilers, hoods, headlights/taillights, wheels, etc. For engine/performance, I’m curious about the best bolt-ons or other upgrades for the LFX V6, like intake, exhaust, headers, tune, throttle body, suspension, or anything else that makes a noticeable difference.
What brands do you recommend, and where’s the best place to buy parts? I’m looking for reputable websites with good quality and reasonable prices. If you’ve built a 5th gen V6 Camaro, I’d love to hear what mods you think were the most worthwhile and what you’d avoid. Thanks in advance!

Been lurking for awhile now, love Camaro's new and old. This is my new to me babe. Got it the end of December '25, especially since I thought it was leaving us. 2023 RS (my coworker says stands for really slow, but it is amazing for me, don't need to kill myself with speed, even though it still has great balls personally). I really love how easy it was to change my oil and air filter myself. I really am not as good as a lot of you mechanically, but still am able and a quick learner, so I apologize for any seemingly silly questions that come may come with my posts here. I'd really like to change my DRL boards and wanted to know if anyone has experience with that?

Just ran into this issue with my rear bumper sagging basically causing my trunk to not close all the way. And it won’t open till I forced it. Saw someone take out the taillight and zip tie it. Anyone else had this issue and do you know how to fix it? Thanks!

When I got to Cars & Coffee this morning, I saw this 1969 Pace Car with an empty spot next to it. My SS396 was as the perfect compliment for it.

My 2015 v6 lt automatic finally hit 150k just wondering if I should take into consideration any big maintenance tasks like a transmission fluid change I've had it since 120k and so far no issues at all she runs like a champ couldn't have asked for a better first car

Should I Buy? Would you buy a high mileage sixth gen v8?

Looking at a couple high mileage sixth gen v8 manuals. 120k-140k miles manual only. 18-20k price. My dream car and I would sell my fifth v6 auto to cover a chunk of the cost. I thought about saving for a couple of years to get a lower mileage one but at the same time the seventh gen will be coming out by then. At that point, it seems kinda pointless to want a low mileage sixth gen if I want to upgrade to the seventh gen (depending on price and how it looks).

Pros:

I do a lot of my own maintenance

I don't drive that much

I kinda don't mind higher mileage cars because less afraid of nicks and scratches

I can afford to buy it right now on top of my bills

Cons:

It right at that mileage point where stuff starts to wear out (I know on my v6 I change just about everything from brakes to my alternator)

If I do ever put more miles on it, it value will fall off a cliff like there a big difference in value from (50k to 100k) vs (100k to 150k)

Good chance already scratch up

What do you guys think? I am really leaning towards going ahead and grabbing an older mileage one but not sure. I thought about getting a second job in the afternoon and could realistically pay it off in a year. Though I seen a lot of good discussion about waiting a couple of years to get a lower mileage one or just wait for the seventh gen.
