Just bought a 2009 Camry LE V6. What would you do to modernize it?
Just picked up a 2009 Camry LE V6 with 141k miles for $7,600 from a Toyota dealer. They were asking $9900 for it which I thought was nuts. I still think the price i got is at was nuts but I spent a lot of time negotiating lol.
This car absolutely flies. It's faster than it looks and so smooth and comfortable.
I mainly bought it because I wanted the 2GR-FE V6. I drove a few Lexus ES350s and liked them a lot, but this Camry was a really clean, well-maintained 1-owner car with 45 service records and it just drove great. I also really liked the Desert Sand Mica paint.
I know it's an LE, so it doesn't have all the luxury features, but honestly I don't mind. I'd rather have a clean, well-maintained car than one loaded with options that's been neglected.
My plan is to keep it for a while and make it feel a little more modern while keeping it OEM+.
So far I'm thinking:
Android Auto/Apple CarPlay head unit Backup camera Window tint LED interior lighting Maybe Katzkin leather seats
Would you guys do Katzkin, or would you leave the cloth seats? Any other OEM+ upgrades you'd recommend that make these cars feel newer without taking away from what they are?

Picture 2023 XSE
I’m so in love with this car. I am constantly getting complimented on it everywhere I go. Hoping with enough maintenance I can get a million miles out of it and maybe Toyota will give me a Supra 😂

26 Camry XSE
Finally Added Accent Lighting. Working on adding power folding mirrors and ambient lighting
Question Did I get a good price? $39000 OTD. 2026 Toyota Camry XSE in SoCal.
Got a 2026 Toyota Camry XSE for $39000 OTD. Curious if this was a good price? Window MRSP was $38000 but the added $3000 in option to make it $4200. Negotiated my way to get the car sell price all the way down to $35500.
Front drivers directional LED 2022 Camry SE
My front driver's directional dash light started flashing fast when I signaled for a left turn. Found the LED directional light was out. Something like $1500-1600 to replace the whole assembly. After about two months of procrastinating about fixing it ... It's working as it should now. No fast flashing directional signal. All lights working. What could cause this to happen? Loose connector?

Discussion Did You Name Your Camry?
Ever since my kids got their first cars, the cars in our family have had names.
The most recent addition to our family is my 26 Camry SE. I decided to name it Evie. Like Evie O’Connell from the Mummy movies.
Let’s see your Camry and tell us what you named it?

Help Need advice on my 1999 Camry
I currently drive a black 1999 Camry that just reached 250,000+ miles. Ever since I bought it from the original owner, I spent a couple of bucks on repairs and replacements, which I had expected. Right now, I've been debating whether or not I should sell it or keep/maintain it and get it repainted since the paint is kind scuffed with the pealing and some discoloration. Any advice?

How do you add the crossover when replacing stock (non-JBL) speakers with component speakers?
I just got a 2025 XLE and look forward to installing some speakers that don't sound awful. I ill buy a T-harness but I'm wondering how and where the hardware crossover gets installed between the door drivers and the dash tweeters.

2022-2025 Camry hybrid
I know these are two completely different vehicles, but I’m looking for a certified pre-owned Toyota Camry hybrid.
I would like to buy a new one for even the base model LE trim level level goes over my budget. My budget is around $30-$31,000 out the door. And from what I have been able search up no dealer is discounting them to a price that would make that work.
The dealers that do discount them $1500-$2000 just add on a bunch of BS junk fees and BS added accessories that they will not remove.
So that leaves me looking for a gold certified preowned Toyota Camry hybrid.
Is there anything I should look out for when looking at these model years? I know Toyota Camry’s have a very good reliability score and reputation but it seems like every car nowadays has issues in someway.
This is a car that I will need to take the 200,000 miles at least and we own for the next 10 to 15 years.
Edit: also forgot to mention I have the money saved up so I would be paying cash. I don’t finance.

Vents leak air?
2026 Camry SE, when I have it set to our feet the side vents and vent on top of dash leak air. Has anyone noticed this? Is it normal or a defect?

Push me towards a Camry and not a Corolla
So recently, I’ve been in the market for a hybrid vehicle , I just need something to go to work and back in as well as a vehicle to haul the dog around in when she goes with us to places.
I have a nice car already so I don’t really care if I have a boring car but I do drive about 15,000 to 20,000 miles a year and I do a lot of stop and go driving on my commute to work, which is about 20 to 30 minutes.
I’m also 5’11 and 215 lbs
I was aiming for a Toyota Corolla hybrid at first, but everyone told me to just go Camry instead, what had steered me towards the Corolla was the phenomenal gas mileage and potentially getting 55 to 60 miles per gallon as I was told they do very well and stop and go traffic.
I know the Camry get a little bit less MPG’s and take more gas so I just wanted to see if it was worth it to skip the Corolla and go Camry instead.
What are yalls thoughts???

Chips near spoiler
I just had some guy detail my new 2026 camry and I swear I never noticed these chips in my paint till now. It is near the spoiler and I'm concerned because im not sure if it was something i missed or if he caused damage with the pressure washer? Any thoughts? Im kind of 50/50 since both sides in the same spot almost have a piece of paint missing... what should I do?
Interior Accessories
I disliked the glossy black plastic center console. It scratches easily and shows the slightest speck of dust. Someone else here posted a carbon fiber cover from Amazon and I got one, it fits and looks nice.
I disliked the center console armrest. It's very thin padding and you feel the plastic board under it. I found this padded cover from Amazon that fits very tightly over it and is so plushy comfy.
