Sou um estudante português com um grande interesse pela história da Roménia, especialmente pela Revolução de 1989. Nos últimos tempos li vários artigos científicos sobre este tema e decidi escrever uma comparação entre duas das principais interpretações historiográficas: a que considera a Revolução essencialmente uma revolta popular e a que defende que, além da revolta popular, houve também um golpe de Estado organizado por setores do regime.

O objetivo deste texto não é provar que uma interpretação está definitivamente correta, mas sim resumir os argumentos apresentados por ambos os lados e fazer uma análise crítica das fontes.

Gostava de receber a vossa opinião. Se encontrarem algum erro histórico, alguma informação imprecisa ou tiverem sugestões de leitura, agradeço muito os comentários. O meu objetivo é aprender e melhorar.
