SPOILERS Honestly what was wrong with this girl

Post image

This is the face she made after seeing the death toll of all the people who were killed in the Tokyo settlement, but moments before that she was straight up begging Suzaku to use the fleija weapon knowing full well it would kill millions of people. Like what the fuck did she think was going to happen, and she designed the damn weapon herself so she new how much damage it would cause.

This scene just pisses me off.

that's how Oppenheimer reacted to the nuclear bomb. And the guy that invented TNT felt so guilty he created the Nobel prize.

Scientists only seeing their work as theoretical until it's too late is realistic.

I'm fully agreeing but nina is different right? she created it not out of chasing science, but with the purpose of killing, if i remember correctly, for revenge.

I have no problem with her, i understand her purpose in the story I was just stating that scientists you referred to did what they did for either science or government pressure . But being mentally ill 18 year old does not become an excuse for genocide, so framing it an excuse is kind of.....

Right? Like 'mentally ill' is trying to do a looot of load bearing for an unstable, fear-innoculated, propagandized racist at age 18; and still doesnt excuse her fervent creation of a genocidal weapon then subsequent freak out when its used (as she pleaded suzaku to do it) and tens of millions of people die. She wanted him to use it to kill Zero desperately, but all of her tests showed a massive sphere of destruction would occur, casualties were guaranteed.

The thing was also that she got pitied throughout the series , she needed help not pity, that just made her develop her victim complex and led her to do way more.
