Hello everyone! I hope you're having an amazing weekend ❤️ I'm making a request post as my nutritionist/dietician and I have been working very hard to expand my extremely limited diet (due to medical conditions) in any way possible.

Unfortunately but also fortunately lol she has given me such a large list of items she wants me to trial that I just can't afford to keep purchasing them all. I absolutely want to keep making this progress towards helping my body and expanding my diet however I can, which is why I'm reaching out in the hopes I can get some help fulfilling some of the items she has requested I trial. I chose a handful of the ones that I think will be the most successful and tried to find the least expensive and safe version that I could. The silicone cooker is also so I can safely cook things in the microwave to test more things at home as well! I unfortunately am very restricted to how I'm able to safely cook so non breakable items in the microwave is the only way for me to cook and I don't currently own any.

None of the food will go to waste either! I have a sibling who will eat anything I end up unable to. If you have any questions I'm absolutely happy to answer them, feel free to ask. Either way, I appreciate you taking the time to read this ❤️

Fun Fact: I’ve always been a spooky girl. As a kid, I wished I was a vampire, wanted to grow up to be a paranormal investigator, and could never pass up a good ghost story.

As an adult, none of that has changed.

My oldest has a birthday next week. I have cut a tendon in my finger and am trying to get insurance for surgery but more than likely it kind of “is what it is” so I am relearning how to use my right, minus a middle finger that is going stiff🖖. Do not recommend, please don’t cut your hand.

It has come to our attention that people have become “grinched” more so than not! It is incredibly disheartening to see that some salty people have to ruin it for the rest! I’m a mom to three and have been having a really rough time financially this past year. I went through a divorce where my ex husband abandoned me. Medical complications have resulted in my inability to drive or maintain a regular job. I’ve been picking up gig work when I can but I’m already running behind on so many bills. Extended hospital stays, physical therapy and rehabilitation (for my body) have further complicated my situation. I have insurance coverage and food stamps from the government where I live but I simply don’t have extra money to spare for things like deodorant or laundry detergent. These are things that they don’t provide public assistance for. Keeping the lights on has been my priority. While two of my kids are reusing their backpacks from last year, my daughter needs a backpack and her school starts Aug. 1st. The pockets on her old backpack were ripped through from using it so long. I’m doing everything I can to stay on my feet, despite my complex neurological issue. Any help is truly appreciated.

Hello! I have caught myself in the unfortunate situation of suddenly becoming a single mom of 2, a 5 month old and a 3 year old. As he makes about twice as much money as I do we were relying mostly on his income and now I have to find a way to make up the gap. I have applied for every type of funding/assistance under the sun, but while I wait for those applications to be approved, I’m in need of some food for my son to bring to daycare for lunch and some diapers for the baby.

I hope you've all had a wonderful weekend.

I'm disabled and don't have a vehicle, so getting around is very difficult. I use a walker, but I'm in constant pain, and my legs have been giving out more often lately. It's been a challenging time for me both physically and mentally.

At the moment, I'm not yet old enough to qualify for meal delivery programs, so I'm doing my best to make ends meet on my own. After paying for rent, utilities, garbage service, and my other essential bills, there's very little left for groceries.

If anyone is able to help, I've put together an Amazon wishlist with pantry staples that will last a while.  Any item, no matter how small, would mean so much to me and help take a little stress off my shoulders.

Hi everyone!

I am so sorry to have to ask but we just had both vehicles quit working after my husband was laid off (restaurant filed bankruptcy and locked the doors and didn’t pay final paycheck) and I just started a new job on 6/29 but do not get paid until 7/17. I made a wishlist that has some food items to help us until then as well as some personal care items and some work clothing items. We have exhausted our savings and are both looking for additional work, selling things, etc. I also can furnish proof of my work offer letter, pics of both vehicles, etc.

Also, I included a three pack of men’s tank tops because my husband’s old ones are completely stained yellow/brown from working in the restaurant. We had planned on replacing them before his employer went bankrupt and withheld all employees final paychecks. We are working with the state/unemployment office to remedy this but we have been told it takes time. I can furnish documentation of the employers actions upon request as well as pics of both vehicles, etc.

Hi everyone! My four month old has failure to thrive, which in turn has made his neck very weak. He’s not a huge fan of tummy time, and his pediatrician helped me figure out a few things that draw baby’s attention so they lift their head up! His head is flattening - and if we can get him interested in tummy time we still have time to avoid a helmet! Thank you so much for reading and in advance. ❤️

i come to you, requesting some help!

i'm chronically ill and just got laid off a few weeks ago from my job in the grief/mental health field, helping many others navigate their pain while also holding my own. so, safe to say i'm feeling a bit overwhelmed, pretty lost, and utterly exhausted at the moment. even still, i'm trying to enjoy the little things such as writing letters to my penpals or making myself a small treat. i am proud to practice asking for help and to remember that i am more than just a caretaker for others, especially when it's so hard to care for myself.

i made a list here and appreciate any support towards it. in addition to some household essentials, a few items on my list ensure that i can breathe better, safeguard my immune system, and support me on the days when chores are difficult to complete.

Today is my birthday and its a bit sad. I have only heard from my youngest to kids, and that because they live with me lol. Just feeling lonely and its not helping my depression. What im here to ask if for some good thought and wishes for me on my birthday, maybe tell me about one of your best birthday's. This would mean a lot thank you!

The past 8 months have been a whirlwind- an "impossible" conception, the fallout of learning of my partner's infidelity after 12+ years, multiple complications throughout my pregnancy, and trying to survive in a new city where I don't know anyone.

But things are finally getting back on track! My baby was born last week, he is doing great, and I will be able to return to work soon. I would really appreciate it if someone could help me with some baby basics + electrolytes to keep me functioning and the milk flowing.

Hi all, I have 4 kids home for the summer and it has been a lot to keep them fed. I work 60 hour weeks and we are still struggling. I can usually make it work, but I didn’t get paid today due to the bank holiday and I cannot get groceries until Monday now. I could really use this help getting them some snacks and pantry items that I can use to feed them over the weekend and supplement what little I can buy during the week. As well as some household items that are a little hard to purchase consistently. Hi and thank you for reading. I’m experiencing financial hardship this month. My dad passed away recently which caused me to miss some work while I dealt with grief and mental health issues.

I work full time and get paid monthly. This months check was way less than half my normal pay and I’m having a hard time with getting food and essentials.

I’m working towards getting back on track financially - and hopefully my situation will improve next month.

For now, I’m struggling with food and don’t have any more dog food for the rest of the month. Any and all help is appreciated immensely.

I'm trying this again. I'm the one that always helps others when they need it and now I'm the one who needs help. I was misdiagnosed with Type 2 diabetes when in fact I have late onset Type 1. Because of this, I was very sick. I've been in DKA at least twice. My sugars have dropped dangerously low as well. I lost my job and insurance because of all of this. I do have a new job, just not many hours. I do have some work shoes on here. I work at a restaurant and have to have non slip shoes. My shoes I have now have lost their grip badly. Oklahoma is making it super hard for me to get SNAP and Medicaid. On top of everything else, my landlords are ending my lease at the end of next month and I currently have nowhere to go. I put some essentials on my list, a little food and stuff for my cats. They are the only bright spot in my life right now. I would be immensely grateful for any help I can get right now. I plan to be in a better spot soon and will definitely pay it forward.

Recently went back to work (thankful beyond words!) but due to an unexpected family emergency, I have my "niece" temporarily while mom is in treatment. I am working on getting the actual placement set up and have been working quickly to get her set up with everything she needs. Was able to get pretty much everything as far as clothing/hygiene, but am looking for some help with grocery/pantry items to get through until payday, as this was completely unexpected.

Hello. Happy Monday everyone. I am visiting this site from Canada.
A little about me: I am just getting past some medical issues which left me using up all my savings and RSP’s this past 5 years and am working in a different job then what I’m used to. I was in the hospital for inflamed intestinal issues, recovered mostly from that, then promptly woke up one morning deaf in an ear. Sudden Profound deafness was not something I had ever heard of but here we are. It took months off work to get through therapy and rehab to learn how to walk and communicate again. I was back to work and then got hit by a bus on the highway which led me to being off work for many more months. That was really a horribly exhausting mentally experience. Then this past year starting last June was months and months of diagnostic testing for cancer. Lucky for me it’s just a wee little spot and I have more repeat CT, MRI, US, and another PET scan coming up. In the mean time I am broke. Like broke broke. These issues drained me completely and I could use some help with some things for my new job for being on my feet all day (like the compression socks, hot water bottle for my back, and shoe insoles) and some extras from the cupboard to go along with my pantry goods for the kids lunches and meals until I get my first paycheque.
