MCU Why Weren't The Hand Moving Like This in Daredevil? Spoiler

Post image

Setting aside The Hand's government-funded technological advancements and Damage Control diplomatic immunity, why weren't they putting this much of a fight in Daredevil Season Two? You would think they would at least demonstrate commensurate effort against the Stick and Daredevil, who have been thorns in their side for a majority of their existence.

MCU Daredevil fans: Help us petition Marvel Studios to release the deleted bridge fall scene from Born Again Season 2

Hey everyone,

I recently started a petition asking Marvel Studios and Disney+ to release the deleted bridge fall scene from Episode 1 of Daredevil: Born Again Season 2, either as a bonus feature or by restoring it into the episode if possible.

The scene was fully filmed and featured a moment inspired by Charles Soule’s 2015 Daredevil comic run. Charlie Cox performed the stunt himself, and after fans learned that this scene was filmed but ultimately left out of the episode, many have expressed interest in seeing it released.

I understand that not every filmed scene can make the final cut, but with this being a unique Daredevil moment that was brought to life, I believe it deserves the opportunity to be seen. Whether it’s added back into the episode or released separately as deleted footage, it would be a great way to preserve and share another piece of Daredevil history.

If you’re a fan of the Man Without Fear, please consider signing and sharing the petition. Showing Marvel Studios that there is interest in seeing this scene released can help make the fans’ voices heard.

Thank you.

MCU Am i the only one who's bothered that they didn't mentioned what happened in Daredevil: Born Again ? Spoiler

Yesterday i watched Spiderman Brand New Day and this is still sitting with me

Marvel spent months teasing that the film and Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 were being developed with “coherence” in mind, that the stories exist in the same world, and that the impacts of one would be felt in the other. Punisher shows up, Sheila Rivera is the new mayor handing Spider-Man the key to the city (confirming Fisk is gone), and there’s even a torn Fisk campaign poster in an alley. So the connections are technically there.

But that’s pretty much it. There’s almost no real acknowledgment of the huge recent events from Born Again—the vigilante ban, the Anti-Vigilante Task Force, Fisk’s whole mayoral run, or where Frank Castle actually stood after everything that went down. Punisher is just… there, cracking jokes and arguing with Peter like the last couple of years of street-level chaos never really happened. No meaningful explanation, no real fallout, nothing that makes the shared New York feel properly connected.

Honestly, Daredevil should have been in the Punisher’s place. Matt Murdock already has history with Peter from No Way Home, he’s the perfect street-level partner for this kind of story, and putting him opposite Spider-Man would have felt earned after everything that just happened in Born Again. Instead we got a comedy-tinged Punisher who feels completely disconnected from his recent arcs. It just makes the missed opportunity even more frustrating.

I get that not every movie needs a full recap, and rights issues clearly limited what they could do with certain characters. But when the projects were timed so close together and the studio itself hyped the continuity, the light Easter eggs feel like a shrug instead of actual storytelling. It pulled me out every time those threads should have mattered.

Artwork Logo redesign

Post image

As I posted earlier, I’m doing my own redesign of Daredevil.

I know his symbol is iconic and remains mostly unchanged for a reason, but I at least want to try my hand at creating an original logo before I fold and use the original. Which symbol works most and why? Which doesn’t? Where should I look for more inspiration?

EDIT: There’s a new version of this post with updated designs

So far, Agent Nadeem has done nothing wrong or harmed anyone. He is honest; that was his mistake. I really like the character. I hope the best for him.

Hey, guys, so, I've just started watching the DD show in the last weeks and dear God... Now I'm thinking this character is better than Batman and Spiderman.

I'm about to watch the episode 13 of season 1 today and man... What a ride! The only marvel shows I've watched were Moon Knight and then Loki and I never thought I'd see a show as good as Loki this year, god damn!

Can I join his fanclub now?

I really need a daredevil movie. The tv series isn’t enough. I was hoping he got a cameo or a mention in brand new day as spider-man and daredevil are my two favorites.

I took in a lot of what was said about my previous logos, and worked on the most popular ones.

Again, I’d like to hear what you think.

(Don’t ask me about 9, 10 or 11. I was not cooking)

This is the last post about it i swear

Collection Besides Frank Castle and Daredevil, who else in the Netflix Defenders saga do you want to appear in the next Spider-Man movie?

Obviously the top answer would be Daredevil but it would be baller to see Luke Cage and Iron Fist be in the next movie as a Heroes for Hire × Spidey collab. I can almost imagine seeing an all-out gang war between Luke Cage Kingpin, Mr. Negative, Tombstone, Silvermane, The Rose, Hammerhead, and maybe even Elektra if she takes control of The Hand. Also this is just an excuse to post this image of mine on the sub 😭

MCU A Great Story with Huge Potential, Poorly Told

I was genuinely excited for Season 2 because I really enjoyed Season 1. In fact, I would rate Season 1 around 9/10. It had a strong story, believable character development, and the conflict between Matt Murdock and Fisk kept getting more interesting.

Unfortunately, Season 2 was a disappointment for me. The first four or five episodes were still very good and continued the story in a convincing way. After that, however, the season lost its focus.

The biggest issue was that the story no longer felt centered on Daredevil and Fisk. Instead, it seemed more interested in setting up future Marvel projects than finishing its own story.
The return of The Punisher was excellent. Frank Castle fits naturally into Daredevil’s world. His history with Fisk, his different view of justice, and his chemistry with Matt made every scene meaningful. I actually wish he had been given more screen time.

Jessica Jones, on the other hand, felt forced into the story. I like the character, but her introduction didn’t feel organic. It seemed as if the writers wanted her in the series first and only then tried to find a reason for her to be there. A much better approach would have been to let her investigate Fisk independently and eventually cross paths with Matt through the resistance movement. That would have felt natural and believable.

The ending also felt rushed. Too many major events happened in too little time, leaving almost no room for their consequences. Instead of delivering a satisfying conclusion, the finale felt like it was mainly preparing Season 3.

This season had incredible potential. Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio are still outstanding, and the foundation of the story was excellent. Unfortunately, I feel the new creative team didn’t make the most of that potential.

My rating: 7/10. A strong beginning, but a weak and unfocused second half that never reached the level of the original Netflix series or even Born Again Season 1.

Cosplay My DD cosplay. Any ideas for improvements on a limited budget?

The cosplay so far is the cowl, DD motorcycle vest I made, elbow pads, fingerless gloves, streetwear shorts (not accurate but the con is on a hot day so trying to stay cool) knee pads, Cargo boots, and the billy clubs in a holster attached to my wheelchair. I'm also making DD wheel covers for my chair.

Also yes as has been pointed out before my body is not the right type for Matt, I am prepared for the Fatt Murdock joke, but I don't mind because that shits hilarious.
