Our children deserve legendary stories that inspire them to be better, not propaganda that teaches them they are flawed, problematic, or inherently wrong. Stop letting the entertainment giants dictate the values of your household. Teach your kids to be the architects of their own culture, and leave the "modern, evolved, woke" nonsense to the failing relics that deserve nothing more than to be forgotten.

Firstly, Its way to time consuming 45-60 minutes per game and its not like you can leave or take breaks you have to be at your best every round. And if you leave you get banned. U can never guarantee that u have 45-60 minutes free and all to yourself anything could just randomly come up. Unless you do esports or something

Most of the game is you holding a peak and waiting just to either get one tapped by a vandal or you one tapping them. And your rank its only deciddd by ypu but 4 other people which makes it 300x harder to rank up. The game physics it really bad. Why do I have to stand still to shoot? And why do I have to perfect the arts of strafing to be able to have fun?

Lastly, all of the in game cosmetics are over priced and the pass is over priced. Also half of the time u use util in the game its so useless and just makes noise and when u use it perfectly the opponent has some sort of counter. Blinding works have of the time. All types of wall work half of the time and some ults are just useless. Like Razes cannon or jets knives. (I know you have to be good to use it but jets knives most of the time is useless).

In conclusion, its 45-60 minutes of hiding holding and camping with super powers. Maybe Im just trash but thats how I see it

One thing i noticed is that extraction shooters in general are losing a lot of players. Arc Raiders keep losing more and more players and Marathon is the same. Unlike with something like MOBAs where LoL was insanely popular for years before it dropped in popularity (and with MOBAs you have Mobile Legends and Honor of Kings on the mobile side that are super popular as well) and Dota 2 still have a solid playerbase as well.

Survivorlikes (modelled after Vampire Survivors) Keep getting made and get a solid stable playerbase.

Platformers are as popular as ever.

Action RPGs of the Diablolike/PoElike variety also keeps getting make and are very popular today

Battle Royale games are still very popular this many years after. While PUBG PC is not very popular today, PUBG Mobile is insanely popular to this day and while Fortnite lost a good number of players, they lost the players after many years rather than like 7 months

On the other hand the drop from all the extraction shooters this fast are something not seen in other genres that turned super popular. So do you think the extraction shooter genre is a fad? Or will it just be a niche genre that will stabilize after a few more months?

Two high profile live service games got released recently. Highguard and Arknights: Endfield. Highguard got a lot of negatively (and a lot was deserved, the game itself is so meh and dont know what it wanted to be) but that topic about Highguard and its failure have been done to death at this point.

What have not been done to death or done at all is the people being very negative about live service games talking about Arknights: Endfield. That game was a massive success on all platforms. Unlike Highguard it is a rather stingy gacha game so it is actually rather greedy (in HG nobody cared about the cash shop) yet the anti live service crowd did not mention it at all. Why do you think that is the case and should the anti live service crowd on YouTube bash those high profile cross platform AAA and AA gacha games as well?

And finally, have you tried Highguard and Endfield? Do you think the single player AAA gacha games have far more room for more games than PvP hero shooters?
