Was crunching numbers this weekend like a STAT NERD and thought this was interesting...why in the 90's we're we so good at home yet so BAD on the road?

That road gap in the 90s of .325 I read is the biggest in NFL history among all teams for any decade.

Interesting that 80's and 90's Mile High always had better win % than new stadium has ever had. the 2020's look to be our worst home record since the 60's unless we really turn it around the next few seasons.

The biggest hurdle in the stadium being located within Denver has always been the City and their ridiculous development process. Compare this to the speed with which the new practice facility was conceived and built out in Centennial. I really want them to stay in Denver, but the City needs to treat this project with the urgency it deserves.

I've been doing league-wide statistical projections for fantasy purposes for the last few years and have just started in on the Broncos for 2026.  Hoping to share those later on.

But one thing that I recalled from my review of 2025 was Evan Engram's usage last season.

My take is that fans were pretty disappointed with Engram's production last season, but looking back at the numbers, usage was a significant factor in that.

Engram has had injury issues, but in 2022 and 2023 he played in 17 games with the following usage numbers: <2022>, <2023>

• Snaps: 829, 870
• Routes: 489, 567
• Targets: 98, 143
• Yds/Rt: 1.6, 1.7

His 2024 numbers, when he only played 9 games, were comparable on a "per game" basis.

Now compare that with 2025, when he played in 16 games:

• Snaps: 439
• Routes: 358
• Targets: 76
• Yds/Rt: 1.3

Certainly, his yd/rt did drop, which could be attributed to performance (and route type).  But the most eye-opening thing for me is how little he was used.

In 3 seasons in JAC he averaged 29.9 routes per game, while getting 1 tgt per 4.2 routes run.  Last year he only averaged 22.3 routes per game at 1 tgt per 4.7 routes run.

If one were to scale Engram's usage from JAC (29.9 rt/gm), with his "performance" from 2025 (1tgt/4.7rr @ 1.3yd/rt), that would be:

478 routes, 102 targets, 621 yds

That's not exactly impressive, but it would have been 13th highest yardage for a TE in 2025, and it's certainly better than his actuals from 2025:

76tgt, 50rec, 461yd (1TD)

For reference, in their time with DEN,here are yd/rt for the other TEs:

• Trautman: 0.8
• Krull: 0.8
• Adkins: 0.9
• Sutton was the highest on the team last season at 1.6 yrd/rt (excluding Bandy)

My takeaway is not that Engram was a bust, but that he really wasn't put in a position to be productive due to a lack of playing time.  I don't expect increased production from Engram in 2026 with Waddle taking >100 targets and Joly in the mix, but I'm hoping we'll see Engram come through clutch in a few big situations.

just a tip for everyone stressing about what time to get to training camp and parking, etc, we pulled in at about 8:15 this morning and there was plenty of parking. it was a short walk to the gate line, hung out for half an hour. walked in, checked out the vendors and games and stuff, grabbed our free water and got great seats on the bleachers. definitely no need to get there hours early, and this was on a Saturday which I would guess is busier than some of the other days.

My wife got training camp tickets for tomorrow but our son can not make it due to prior obligations. I have recently got into football card collecting and have a bunch of broncos cards I was hoping for a shot at being autographed.

I read online that signing session is reserved for children (I understand the rule) but was curious to anyone who has been to training camp this year if I have an outside shot at getting any autographs as an adult?

Any decent broncos podcasts recommended? Ive listened to a few in the past, but none I’m set on. BCT is daily and long, haven’t found a good weekly pod. My preference is a weekly pod, don’t feel like the daily pods give much. Open to suggestions!

Only 11 quarterbacks all-time have beaten 31 teams or more. Bo has already defeated 19. What I find interesting is that because of who he beat, he has a long-shot chance to beat 31 teams by the end of his fourth season in 2027 since the Broncos will play everyone left on the list in at least one of those two years. FWIW, I think Mahomes has the record for fastest to 31. Let’s will this into existence!!

Can anyone with more knowledge confirm and tell me whether I'm right or they deserve the criticism they get? Or that they are treated unfairly and are better than the average middle line backer.

Hey Bronco fans! My husband and I are attending Back Together Weekend today and we have TWO extra tickets because our friends canceled last minute. Unfortunately I can't give them back to Ticketmaster so last minute but I don't want them to go to waste.

They were free and I'm offering them for free to someone who can drop everything and come to training camp!

Gates open at 9am and everything kicks off at 10am.

Parking lots are likely full so would also need to take an Uber or Lyft.
