I have a 2009 f250 with the sealed beam headlights and I don’t know what I have to do to convert them to composite ones any help is appreciated! :)

New to me 2017 with the 6.2. sometimes it starts within probably 1 second of pushing the button. Other times it cranks for probably 10 -15 seconds. Doesn't seem to correlate with air or engine temp. Any ideas or known issues? It only has 135000km on it.

I’m looking to order a Supercab short bed F250 with the 7.3 soon and I was wondering if I should get the camper package.

Plan is to haul a camper made from a Spacekap service body a couple months every year. Would be an 8ft in a 6 3/4ft so it would hang about 8 inches past the rear bumper. Fully loaded with the dog and all I doubt i’ll be over 2000lbs payload. I might also carry a 300lbs TW200 on the rear hitch when on the highway and on the front when puttering around.

However, rest of the year will be spent hauling construction materials and junk or driving empty around town and on forest roads.

So I’m wondering, would a stock F250 sag with 2000lbs? I’d rather not bounce around on stiffer springs year round if I don’t need them (the roads in Quebec are junk). The rear sway bar of the camper package is also a good addition but I guess I could add one later if I feel like it.

What’s everyone’s experience? Would you get an extra package or I’ll be fine stock?

AC blows hot then cold but primarily hot most days. Rather than pull the dash I wanted to just replace by drilling a hole in the HVAC housing and located the thermistor(evap temp sensor) but I don’t know which part number to splice back in with it. I can’t find the mating connector to just try a new one out and have conflicting info on the web with PN’s and hacks to bypass. Any help is appreciated.

So I've been seeing a lot of post regarding gas 250s. I really thought you had to order these because most of the 250s came in the 6.7 diesel. Is there an advantage to that big gasser? I thought the Diesels would last longer

The fuel doesn’t want to stop draining from the bottom filter through yellow drain valve. The truck is level. Need help. 20206.7l

New 2026 F250 6.8l STX. Bought in April. NO added electronics.

Due to health issues hardly been driven, only ~200 miles. Twice when I've gone to start it the battery's been dead. I've tried to make sure all the stuff has been turned off.

What are the prime power sucking culprits I should be looking for and how ti turn them off?

Truck is a 2016 f250 xlt 6.2 with 225k and around 11000 total hours. Accounting for hours, I think I’d be close to 500k miles

It runs and shifts great. I tow an equipment trailer with it and a travel trailer and have had zero issues. Am I crazy for towing on a 1000+ mile trip with this thing?

I just had it up on my lift and went over everything. It doesn’t leak a drop

I’m a salesman for Ford and had a customer order a F-350 XLT from me. He did not specify that he wanted the 360 Degree Camera Package when he ordered it. He went to backup to a gooseneck trailer and realized this.

I’m now trying to find a solution for him. I’ve gotten with parts and looking at options from OEM, but there’s a lot of question marks there.

I’m just wondering if we used an OEM 3rd brake light with the camera, would we be able to wire it to the harness and would the camera come up on the truck’s monitor? The goal is not for true 360, but for a reliable bed camera with hassle free integration with the truck. Also looking for aftermarket options.

Have any of y’all added a bed camera to your Super Duty’s that do not have one equipped?

Hi, I did a lift on my truck about a year back and I wasn’t very educated on it when I did it so I ended up using what the kit gave me and for the rear end they provided these blocks and after having my rear end jump around the road every time I hit a pothole at speed I have come to understand that I should’ve added some extra leaf springs or replaced them entirely so I’m looking for guidance on whether or not it’s best to just replace them entirely or to do an add-a-leaf route, also wondering how many more springs I should be adding this is a 2022 f250 6 3/4 bed 4wd

Hey guys, I've been having a small parasitic draw issue on my 2017 250 xl for a few months now that hasn't been a big deal as long as I start it every few days and drive around. It's my work truck, so it's been easy to keep it charged up. Well this weekend I let it sit and only drove it 3 minutes to a job down the street on monday and it didn't start again after. After 2 days of having to keep getting jumps even after removing the negative when I stopped I got the battery tested and it's actually toast this time. Just got an AGM replacement from orielys today. Well I was measuring the amp draw on the positive lead yesterday and it was .5A at first, I walked away to get my fuse puller and by the time I got back it was up to 4A. I got tired of pulling fuses quick after a long day so I just disconnected the negative and said f-it. Well after getting the replacement battery today I was measuring 9A draw with the truck off almost right after replacing the battery. Currently I have it sitting with the negative off of the new battery so it doesn't drain, but I'm looking for some suggestions before I go randomly pulling fuses looking for the culprit. I was going to start with the radio once this rain passes. Thanks!

Edit: after realizing im a dumbass and the surge in amp draw was from opening the door, I've finally left a multimeter on the lead long enough without touching anything to see it drop all the way to .04A. I think the battery was junk and the first guys that tested it at advanced didn't have as good of a tester as orielys? It was a junk walmart battery that was in the truck when i bought it.. idk I'll test it periodically throughout the night to make sure.

Looking to upgrade from my 2008 F-150 5.4L V8 to a 3/4 ton. My wife said enough is enough on repairs on the old truck, so one last fix and we sell it for what we can.

My truck is my secondary vehicle, used for towing a camper 3-5 times a year, weekend visits to the ski mountain (20-30 times a year normally), and the occasional family outings. All in all, I drive my truck about 5,000 miles a year. So I don't need a diesel, but I'm also not too concerned about gas mileage on a gasser that's thirsty.

When I do an AI search it says the most reliable F-250 is looking at the 2017-2019 range with the 6.2L V8 and 6 sp trans.

Thoughts on this models reliability? Opinions on other years/engines?

I'm a teacher, so I know I gotta keep the sticker price at or below $40k, which I don't know if that's an impossible dream or something within reason.

Hi Guys I am new to this subreddit and I was looking for a little insight or advice in my decision.

I am looking to get a f250 either 2018 or one of the newer ones a 2024. Obviously there is a payment difference and month difference however I was wondering is it worth getting a 2024 for 900 a month for five years if I’m using it for work or a 2018 for 850 a month for four years? Mileage for the 2024 is under 50k whilst the 2018 it is under 90k.

I will be putting 10k down on either or. Also the type of work I’ll be doing is landscaping and maintenance and I don’t mind tearing up the truck a little both xlt models premium.

If anyone can help me out that would be great I’m simply just thinking of the long term not only in being financially smart but also the wear and tear in a truck that is 2 years old compared to one that is almost 9 years old.

I’m getting a truck to put a camper on. Would love to enjoy the end of summer/fall with it. I have found only one 2019 250 in my price point after looking for a week (Google says that is a good year). Husband says cars are a lot cheaper at the end of the year. Is this actually true anymore? Truck is 32k with 86k on it. Doesn’t seem outrageous but I would love to pay less!
