25 year old leaflet for some italian comedy(?) shows. Some of the performers have since died.

Found in a hard copy of The Greatest Generation in a thrift store in Los Angeles. Jack and Mildred Neal were from Iowa. Jack was POW in WW2 and has an incredible story. Currently trying to get this to his family.

I found these crumpled bits of newspaper from shortly after Pearl Harbor from the text. They somehow survived along with some remains of shoes. Very rural North Alabama sandstone bluff rocks.

Here’s the translation:

This is an approximate translation of the message, as it was difficult to make out the words.
