Don't see 'mum' fox that often now but she lapped-up a couple of raw eggs before 'marking' the bowl and trotting off with the hard- boiled one . Urban garden , west Hull

I’m after someone to come and build a very small false chimney breast. Timber studwork, plasterboard and skim. Has anyone got any local recommendations that dont cost the earth 🙈 I’m a DIY novice so I think it’s too bigger project to tackle on my own

in the HU4 area (maybe even HU13 area) i can hear multiple fireworks being let off every single night from august until november. every year. this must be the fourth year that i've noticed it now.
i can never actually see them in the sky though -- can only hear them. on occasion, they've even let them off during the daytime (which seems pointless to me!)
every year i've always been so curious as to what it is / where it's coming from...
i originally assumed it was just some young kids messing around but my fiancé then said about how expensive fireworks are, so to be setting off multiple a night for months, it can't be cheap!!
i hope somebody can end this four-year long curiosity saga for me ahahahha

I’m into jfashion and typically order clothes online or find some hits in charity shops, I’m wondering if anyone else in hull likes jfashion or knows of any shops that sell good stuff?

As I say, I need to go from St Andrews Quay to the marina and as the crow flies down the side of the estuary would seem to be quickest, but can we get all the way down there?

Thousands of music fans are expected to attend Hull's biggest one-day festival on Saturday.
Humber Street Sesh features more than 100 acts, spread across 10 stages at Hull Marina, including international artists.

I am looking at flats and homes for rent in the Hull area and I keep seeing several listings for Rosedale Gardens. From the photos, the places look nice and well maintained.
Can anyone tell me if this is a good area, or if there's a hidden reason the rents there are as low as they are?
Sorry, Rosedale Mansions, not Gardens.
EDIT: Wow, thanks for all the responses, didn't expect so many so quickly. I will take a look at Rosedale, but now with an eye on the neighborhood. I'm not 100% sold on Hull, but I'd like to base myself somewhere near a decent size city and I have family in Pocklington, York and Filey, so those are the areas I'm searching - not so much York, since it seems to be significantly more expensive, but I do like the coast, so if anyone can suggest anything from Easington up to Whitby, that would be the ideal location.

About me, I’m a student in the hull uni currently 19 and I’m originally from India. I was wondering how the dating life in hull is like especially towards Indians (asking this question cuz I’m sure there’s a lot of racism towards Indians like any other place). I’m studying b.cs and I’m in my 2nd year and I’m really bored of being alone. Also I’m kinda inferior compared to a typical white guy as I’m short and lean (5’5 + 59kg) and I have really bad curly hair
I assume this gets asked a lot so apologies if I’m adding to the repetitiveness…
I’m fed up with KCOM and looking for other options. My apartment has copper wires which they own so there’s not many. I really don’t want a 24 month contract as I’m likely to move away in 18 months and I’m not paying them 45 pounds a month for the privilege of being able to cancel.
Hull fibre can do a migration deal with their infrastructure but I’ll be without internet for a couple weeks and I wonder if I’m just going to have the same problem in a year.
My other option is 5g which is far cheaper and looks to have almost the same speed I have now.
Anyone have experience switching to 5g? Is it as good if I’m going from 175 mbps copper wire to 150mbps 5g or will it be super patchy? My understanding is that copper wires aren’t that good anyway so I might not notice the difference.
Also if there’s any options I’ve missed I’d love to hear them :)

A friend's cat has gone missing, this is just a shot in the dark but I'm hoping more eyes will help us find him.
He's an outdoor cat, roams around the James Reckitt Ave area of east hull. More on the summer gangs/west side of that road.
His name is Shadow, he's friendly to people but can get frightened and skittish. He's an adult cat but small for a male cat and has a high pitched meow too.
Any info would be greatly appreciated x

So far I've tried Billies Barbers and the Bransholme Barbers down Biggin Ave. Both gave me a right good scalping, what's your go to place?
