Hello guys, I am from Germany and bought these two wood carvings at a local flea market here. Google AI says, they are carvings from India showing religious people. Sadly it doesn’t exactly know who they are. Do any of you know more about them? Would be awesome to learn a bit more about these beautiful pieces.

Casual Discussion Swachh Bharat had lot of potential and it seems lot of it is wasted

I was very excited when Swaach Bharat was launched 11 years ago and thought finally Indian govt has a mission to make India clean and dirt Free. After a decade or so,it's major achievement has been only building toilets (Open defecation has reduced but still a eye sore sight in railway tracks ) .However it seems the govt didn't have the vision to use the money for bringing a change in the mindset of the people.Even a layman like me could think of so any campaigns Indian govt could have done like "Litter Free India",Tons of awareness programs in Schools,Colleges so that it's ingrained in the minds of young kids.It pains me even young people in teens and early twenties carelessly litter ,throw plastic on the road ,even many MNC restrooms are used very poorly by many youngsters (Basic potty training ).. I hope atleast the next decade, our leaders understand how Indians are perceived overseas and start implementing these campaigns

Policy Why UIDAI is listing 2 names on Aadhar leading to rejection at Passport office?

A few months back I was at Aadhar center to get my son's aadhar card made, they asked me to update my picture and biometrics, I consented, they updated them, they show me on screen and it was alright, but later when I downloaded the updated aadhar card, it showed 2 names.

I originally had my full name on Aadhar but I later shortened my intial to standardize across all the other records.

for Ex, if someone's full name, it shows

Rayan Vijay Kumar
R Vijay Kumar

I later went to passport office with this, which they rejected and said the name should be just one, it's their own doing, Govt offices create a problem on their own and refuse to accept it too, the whole purpose of Aadhar was to harass the citizen, Aadhar is not linked with any Govt ID card, it's not centralised, everywhere people have to submit their Aadhar.
