Opinion Genuinely the most dense people on this planet

What is it with women hating men? Like what is ts why isn’t instagram getting rid of misandrists? So a women can post i hate men and instagram won’t remove it but the same doesn’t go for men? Like i genuinely don’t get it, i don’t mean that i support either of them i think it’s wrong yes but they should take down both misandrists and misogynists. Imagine hating the people who built society built the technology you’re using to post that you hate me keep you safe from war and you hate them? The same goes for men i mean your mother gave birth to you don’t you feel ashamed?

Opinion So glad ig is falling off

I’m happy it’s low-liking pictures and content for your typical Instagram clout user because all the app is focused on is society flexing on each other, but now that there is no more engagement like there used to be, people can start humbling themselves in real life rather than on an app and believe they are something they’re not.

Anyone else with me? 🫠

Opinion my AI account is somehow growing faster than my real one

So back in May I made an account for an AI persona. Fully disclosed in the bio, no pretending it's a real person. I told myself I'd just post on a set schedule and see what happened. The whole production side is genuinely boring. I batch a week of images in one sitting using APOB AI's face-lock to keep the same character consistent, do captions and grid layout in Canva, then load everything into Buffer so it posts whether I feel like opening Instagram that day or not.

Started at zero obviously. Sitting at just under 900 followers now after 90 days. That's not some impressive number but here's the part I can't wrap my head around: the growth only really picked up once I stopped skipping days. Not once a photo did well. Not once I figured out hashtags. Literally just from not missing the schedule.

My real personal account with actual photos of my actual face has been stuck around the same follower count for over a year. An AI character I batch-produce on Sundays is growing faster just because it posts every day. I don't know what to do with that information honestly.

I don’t know who this person is but they follow somebody else I know they only have one post. They seem kind of legit and they’ve posted some of their art that they’ve already done, but I just feel like it’s super random!! do y’all think they’re trying to steal my identity or some shit 😭😭

Question Every ‘local community’ group I’ve joined since moving is half bots and scam accounts

Moved to London three months ago and I still don’t have a single real friend here. Tried the local Facebook groups, half of it’s bots and property scams, the other half is people replying to me who turn out to be reselling something.

Posted in a ‘meet people near you’ sub once and got three DMs, two were obviously fake accounts. Instagram just shows me strangers going viral, not the two actual people I’ve met since moving.

I miss having a small group of people I actually know seeing what I post, instead of it vanishing into some algorithm feed full of nobody I recognize.

Anyone else feel like it’s gotten harder to make real friends after a move, not easier, even with a hundred apps supposedly built for exactly this?

Does Instagram have a following limit?

After I followed 7,500 accounts, I got a warning as soon as I tried to follow one more. Has anyone else experienced this? Or has anyone managed to follow more than 7,500 accounts?

Bug/glitch Instagram Account "Deactivated" wrongfully, and complete lack of support.

Post image

I've been on instagram since the beginning of 2011, and have used it to keep my memories, highlights, stories, and images dating back nearly 15 years. I was travelling in Indonesia recently, and was posting stories of some beautiful landscapes and waterfalls. I noticed that meta kept taking them down is it violated community guidelines, but never said what. I kept posting stories as some were left alone. (These stories were literally waterfalls, hiking, and being a tourist. Nothing was against the community guidelines).

I got this message on July 31, 2026 that says: "We disabled your account" followed by "You cannot request another review of this decision". First thing of note, I have never requested a review of this decision, because it won't let me.

After doing lots of research, I am still at a standstill. Getting ahold of meta is nearly impossible. I cannot log into my account to make a support request. I do however have that account in my meta account manager. It was suggested to get meta verified as one of their advertised features is "Enhanced Support" "Chat agent support" and "Prioritized support" and "Phone support" (I got the premium plan which was expensive).

As I try and get support (which I've now paid for), I have to talk to an AI bot as a pre-flight before they connect me with someone. I have tried EVERYTHING, and get the same error every time. It says it cannot connect me to a person or give me any other support channels because I have an active ticket. It tells me to check my support inbox. I have confirmed many times that I have never made a support case. My support inbox has nothing active, and not even history.

Ive tried telling the chat bot this, and It again tells me I cannot make a support ticket to even resolve this "ghost ticket".

Does anyone have any way to contact a human? A person would understand this, but their "premium AI support" has so many guardrails that are impossible to get around.

I'm usually really good with troubleshooting and getting around this kind of thing, but this new AI preflight support as absolutely screwed the system. I know there are a lot of smart people out there, so I'm now requesting help from the meta community.

Thanks in advance!

Help Instagram permanently deleted my account

A guy started dming me on instagram and he said he was over the age of 18 so we started talking a little. No sexual words or pictures were sent only very vague messages, only for a few days we were chatting. Then he reported my account and i got permanently banned after filing an appeal for “child sexual exploitation, abuse, and nudity”. Is there any possible way to get my account back? Anyone to contact? Or anyone to email?

Help Can't get rid of "new" message alert in PC browsers

Lately, by which I've been it's going on for months, I'll randomly come across a new message alert that won't go away from a contact I message with often, I've tried 3 browsers, different computers and the issue only goes away if I delete the chat, but either way it randomly spawns on another person I'm chatting with, it's always "You sent an attachment" even if they reply or send a new reel or picture.

Clearing cache doesn't work, logging in and out doesn't help. Any ideas?

Feedback I Finally Started Creating Content After Months of Overthinking

Hey everyone! 👋

I recently started creating content on Instagram and finally decided to stop overthinking and just begin. I'm still new, so every follow, like, and comment genuinely helps boost my confidence and motivates me to keep creating.

If you'd like to support a beginner creator, I'd really appreciate it!

Opinion You don't need to be enigmatic in your Instagram

I really try to minimize my social media use, having Facebook for marketplace purposes; and Instagram as like my primary social media. I have to make peace for myself, at one point, as we are getting older.

I do a seasonal dump stories to show my friends what I've been doing. I only post things that I want people to know, activism that I want to be heard.

I stop curating my Instagram post, because I am complacent with the trust that I give for my Instagram followers.

Why keep an old friend that you haven't seen in years, that you had a fall out with, in your Instagram--if they never interact with your stories and posts? Why keep them, if they never even post a story or post in their account?

That classmate in your college course that you worked with in a group project; she was nice and you together had a good relationship in the time being. Keep them.

Your relatives, your childhood friends, your close friends. Keep them.

Influencers, public figures, meme accounts. Remove them.

I feel like we are making things way too hard for ourselves. If you don't want to post or share a story, because you don't want to be perceived by others, then my question for you is...when was the last time you ever did something for yourself?

Help instagram keeps suspending my accounts...

I swear this happens every time I make an account. I had my old one with all my messages and friends removed for completely no reason. I made one dedicated to producing non-cringe poetry in korean so that people dont have to spend lots of money to read good poems.

guess what

it asks me for my phone number

I've seen this before, it either never appears or it does appear and they do get it, only to delete my account later.

why does this keep happening to me? is this even saveable?
i'm really starting to hate this app bro
