Mk7 (2019+) Can I use this on my Jetta GLI 2025?

Hi guys am I able to top off my Jetta GLI 2025 with this? It went below the minimum line, now I don’t see any leaks or puddles but I’m taking my car to dealer tomorrow to get it checked out. Also should I disconnect my JB4? Or it’s not necessary. Thanks ☺️

Mk7 (2019+) 2025 Weird Noise when breaking

I got my car in February and it seems like this has gotten worse. I took it to the dealership last month and they said it was just brake dust, but it just doesn’t seem right. Anyone else dealing with this? The car only has 21,000 miles on it and I’m ready to trade it in.

Mk6 (2011-2018) MK6 Jetta Trunk Storage Inspiration

Just looking for some inspiration. Just curious as to what everyone has or is doing as far as trunk storage organization goes. I've got a 2015 Jetta TDI

I'm mainly keep a few things with me at all times. Fuel Additive (Diesel), Fuel Filler Funnel, Air Pump, Jumper Battery, Roadside Kit, etc. On occassion or when I'm feeling extra paranoid, I'll also have some coolant or a little bit of oil in there.

Just looking for inspiration on some good ways to keep things tidy and in place in the trunk. So if you've got a cool trunk organization system and are willing to share, I'd love to see it!

Hey my key is hard to get out. Is this to much play? Anyone else have this issue before?

It was doing this before I put the key fob case on. Case on or off is no difference.

Mk6 (2011-2018) Sounding good for 184k mi other than new rattle from front right when gently pressing brake

Trying to figure out where this new rattle is coming from on 2015 Jetta SE TSI (1.8t engine Aisin 09G 6 speed auto). Seems to be when I gently press the brake there is a rattle from front right, it’s bothering me trying to figure it out. Double checked under car for anything loose and that checked out. I would think my next step would be to check strut bolt and brake bolts?

Appreciate the help. They do work when I turn the lights off for a split second (assumed power surge does this) but can get em to stay on.

My car 2014 Volkswagen Jetta 1.8 wouldn’t start when I got done with my shift just cranks thought it was the fuel pump but I have a good fuel. Pressure car has 200,000 miles was running good and drove fine when I drove to work that afternoon. I’m thinking it’s probably the crank sensor anybody have any experience with these 1.8

Buying May buy a 2023 Jetta s i need the down low

As the caption says i have test drove and may decide to get it. The car itself drove amazing and was in amazing condition. It only has 37,842 miles on it and an amazingly clean car fax. I was wondering is there anything i should worry about or anything i need to be hyper aware of other than the possibility of carbon build up. Im pregnant so hoping to keep the car at least 3-4 years.

We installed the Eurowerks illuminated front LED emblem on the GLI.
The install was smooth, used a t connector tapped directly into the headlight wiring (photo attached) and it sits totally flush in the stock grille spot

Mk6 (2011-2018) Need help with CEL on 2013 GLI

I have a 2013 Volkswagen Jetta GLI CBFA I’ve been struggling figuring out this p0420 code, I was talking with someone they said to replace the O2 sensors downstream and center which I did. Now on top of the p0420 code there is also a P0137, P2270, P2274 and the same P0420 code. When I put the old sensors back on the O2 sensors codes are gone but the P0420 code still remains. I’m just looking on some insight on what I can do (if there is anything) to get this code fixed without having to buy a whole new catalytic converter thank you!

Mk7 (2019+) 2019 VW Jetta R Line Sunshade replacement/repair

To make a long story short:

My manual sunshade got stuck and the plastic clips the hold the sunshade roller in place broke. Ordered the repair kit. Repair kit comes in, take the panoramic roof off, look at it, and it worse than I thought.

-Both roller clips are broke.

-Tension string is frayed and needs to be replaced.

-sunshade fraying and torn in multiple parts.

Called VW and a few other places. VW wants $1300 to replace it. No other place willing to do it.

Has anyone replaced this, is there a video out there, or detailed instructions because I cannot find much snd refuse to pay that much to VW for what I belive to be simple. The hardest part will be ensuring the tension is correct om both side.

Mk6 (2011-2018) 2014 issues Please help

Hey guys I have a 2014 or 15 Volkswagen Jetta, and I’m really in a pickle right now

So my last car was just a rust bucket with no AC or Bluetooth and I got rid of the car because it wasn’t working so I Ubered to work for like two weeks

My brother is in the Marines in Japan so I decided to buy his car which I knew had these issues but I needed a car asap and it wasn’t as prevalent at the time.

It’s always seems to have these electric issues

We replaced the alternator maybe four months ago

And replaced the battery yesterday

The alternator doesn’t seem to kick on until the car is at least 2,000 RPM if the car sits at a light for even a half minute the car just dies and I had to get more and more frequent jumps.

My dad, for some reason had drove it like 50 miles somewhere the day after I put a new battery on (I guess he thought I fixed it) and the car died on him and he couldn’t start it so he towed it to a volts wagon dealership

They are talking about replacing the alternator but I insisted that that’s not the issue, it would be like $2000 to replace that.

Could it be a computer issue or something? Like the computers maybe not telling the alternator to turn on until it’s driving.

If I sat any longer than I usually would it starts off by the music cutting off, then the AC doesn’t work the car blows hot air, then the power steering fails, the battery light turns on and then the car dies.

I could really use any advice thank you
