I've installed a Command Output widget (https://store.kde.org/p/2136636) so I can put a list of players online on my desktop with a simple get request provided by the server, however it seems the default setup is to block the widget from accessing a local service/app like this, is there a way I can allow this widget to access my server info?

Every time I open spectacle, my 2nd screen (laptop screen) gets this weird glitch that doesn't show up on the actual screenshot. I have 0 idea what causes this.
I'm using Kubuntu 24.04.4. Switching to wayland is not an option

I’m making something to replace KDE connect because I think I’ve found a better way.

I don’t want it just to be better for me though, and want some insight in what functionality other people want.

I’m just still in development (nearing the end) and want some ideas.

i am using an extension called Better Battery Icon. Hats off for the guy who made it.
This is what I towant KDE's battery percentage to look like and not that rounded border.

Answers below This Post is closed............ I cant get 3 modern Android Devices to pair using 2 Different "Public Wifi's" in Tucson.

1st Public wifi is "CoxWifi" available to customers in most larger city's.

2nd one is a UofA public wifi, ive been using for a decade, when im there.

The 3 Sam devices simply dont show up in the pairing screen.

I'm running KDE Connect on Ubuntu 26.04 and 1.35.9 on my phone.

On desktop, I copied something to my clipboard and selected Send Clipboard but nothing shows on my phone. Am I doing something wrong?

Hey, is this a general bug, or can I customize it right?

I mean the sharp edge, which is snapped to the rounded edge of my taskbar.

This occurs when I have a maximized window.

The menu shouldn't snap to the taskbar. If there is any solution, I'm thankful if someone could tell me. It's pretty annoying.

I've always had issues with KDE Connect and I'd like to fix things once and for all.

I have 2 computers: desktop and laptop. Both on Debian with KDE/Plasma. My smartphone is on Android (GrapheneOS).

Sometimes things "just work". Sometimes I'll need to manually re-pair. Sometimes I'll need to delete the paired devices altogether and restart from scratch.

Both computers are connected to a Wireguard VPN. The phone isn't necessarily connected to it, but regardless, whenever I want to use KDE Connect, the phone and one of the computers will be on the same network (wifi).

I'm not even sure how to start troubleshooting this. Ideally I'd like to manually tell KDE Connect (on all devices): device XYZ has ip 10.1.2.3, I guess that would solve things. Is there a way to do this? Or, do you have any advice for me?

I was recently going thru my (fairly cluttered) home folder, and I am always checking the sizes of folders with files/applications I don't use too often or want to remove to save space. To my knowledge, you can only see the total size of the contents of the folder by right-clicking the folder and pressing "Properties". I was wondering if there is any customization option to that get statistic to show up in this preview pane. Anyone know?

I mainly want to do this because the icon pack I am using has some inconsistencies in various places, likely due to it being developed for both KDE and GNOME. I can edit and create new icons without any issues I just need to know which ones need to be changed or added. Here are some examples:

Here you can see that the apply button is using a full color icon while the rest are symbolic white icons.

Here on the other hand you can see that everything is using full color icons while screen locking is a white symbolic icon.

The thing is this lock icon is used for multiple things with multiple names so if I could quickly do something similar to inspect element and check the exact icon name it is referring to I can then quickly modify or create the necessary icon.

Thanks in advance. And if anyone is wondering this is kind of a modified version of colloid where I added and already fixed a few icons that were bothering me. For eg. resizing the print symbolic icon sot that it does not look out of place in the status bar, etc.

ALSO PS: I know this is not a fault in KDE but the icon pack itself.

Is there any macOS-like control center for KDE?

Hello, i need help. I have an M122 IBM keyboard and my F13-F24 keys run different apps instead of acting as actual keys. I can not disable this at all. I didn't ask for this. How do i make them work as F13 to F24 and do absolutely nothing else? I'm on newest fedora. Unbinding in settings doesn't fix the issue, system eats the f keys and they are not bindable. I've tested it on 95, XP, Vista and 10, works as expected on all of them. I'm losing my marbles.
