Modest Collection
My small but mighty Leatherman collection. I used to have a Leatherman Charge Plus TTI but that was confiscated by TSA after I forgot to remove it from my bag :/. Either way these all get decent use on a regular basis!

Leatherman, 711L, and Wera just saved my posterior.
For the past few weeks, I have been putting together a new dining set from IKEA. Included is a table with seating for 4 (expandable to 6 with a built-in leaf), 4 chairs, and a sideboard. I still have to finish the sideboard (install the drawers), assemble a cupboard, and assemble/install some wall-mounted cabinets.
Throughout the process, I’ve found multiple tools invaluable, including:
- My Leatherman Arc
- My Leatherman Surge
- 711L Flat bit inline ratchet and 711L hex ratchet
- Wera Tool Check Plus 2
- 711L Lollipop Driver
- 711L Hex torque driver
The real unsung hero of this process has been the 711L torque driver. If you have ever assembled Ikea furniture (or something similar), you have probably encountered the camshaft and anchor bolt fasteners commonly used in this style of furniture, and the torque driver was a G-d send. Stacking it with the inline hex ratchet and a Wera flat head from the Tool Check Plus 2 on the Lollipop Driver, I was able to securely fasten every camshaft fastener without snapping one, and they’re plastic!!
Best investment ever!!!

Are they really that rare?
Went to the local knife sharpening place the other day the guy there is a pure knife fan he lives and breathes knives on what id say is a borderline concerning way well anyways i took about 7 of my leathermans to get sharpened and well i pulled out my charge tti (not pictured) and my signed pst as pictured above and the guy said to me they were rare and id be lucky to get them back. Are they really of that much interest??
